Hanna's pov:
The sun is up and it's a new day.
Lets make it good.
I ran down the stairs to the kitchen and saw my parents sitting at the table.
"Hello mother. Hello father!" I cheered just like I was in some cheesy movie.
"Good morning sweetheart!" My mom cheered back.
I hugged my dad and sat down next to them.
"Hey mom can we go to the pharmacy?" I asked her.
I need to know if I'm pregnant or not.
"Sure." She said then hopped right up.
I think she knows why.
We walked out and into the car.
"So... Is this for a pregnancy test?" She asked me as she backed out of the driveway.
I nodded.
"I need to know."
We don't live too far from town so this drive can't be far.
I leaned my head on the glass window and watched the people as we drove by.
They're everywhere.
We passed a target, then a couple small shops.
Right around the corner peeked the pharmacy.
My hands are sweaty.
What if I am pregnant? I don't want a baby right now! I'm still a kid!
My mom parked the car and we walked towards the store.
We scanned the aisles and then we saw them.
There they were.
The pregnancy tests.
I grabbed one and did my walk of shame to the check out.
My mom had her arm around my neck.
She tries to comfort me but it won't work. Not at a time like this.
I paid for the test and immediately walked back to the restroom.
"Wait here." I said to my mom as I closed the door and locking it.
Here I go.
I pulled down my pants and squatted over the toilet.
I don't really have to pee but I'm forcing it out of me.
When I was done I pulled my pants up and walked over to the sink to wash my hands while I wait for the results.
I shook the test to see if it would speed up and when I stopped shaking there they were.
My shoulders shrugged back into place and I stopped shaking.
A minus sign.
Yes.
I threw it in the trash and opened the door.
My mom was leaning against the wall on her phone.
When I started walking towards her she looked up.
She must have saw my smile cause she smiled back.
"Soo?" She asked me.
"You're gonna be a grandma!" I cheered and hugged her.
She pushed me away and grabbed my shoulders, looking straight in my eyes.
"What?!" She shouted.
"Just kidding geez!"
My mom had a sigh of relief.
"Thank god! Now let's get out of here!" She smiled and linked arms with me. Just like we are best friends. Which I can say my mom is by far one of my bestest friends.
