Chapter 3(the attempt)

Chapter three

I turn around and see Shelly being carried away by a man dressed in black. But she is not making it easy for him. She's kicking and screaming, pulling hair, and biting him. I know from experience that she can hit pretty dang hard. So I started to run as fast as I could to get to her before they stuck her in that truck, but I was too late. The man had put her in the truck, just before I grabbed his black shirt, and drove down the street. I made a run to my car but then realized I had left them on the porch when Shelly screamed. I also thought about running in the direction that the truck went off in, but then I thought I might get lost. So I sunk down to my knees and sobbed. I sobbed until I heard my parent's pull up in the driveway. They came running out of their car, came up to me, and sat beside me. nothing was said. Like they already knew what happened. " Come on, Alex you have school tomorrow, and you need to sleep," my mother said softly. " School, school, Shelly just got kidnapped, and you are thinking about me in school?!" I half screamed at her. " Now now we know you are worried about her, but Shelly will be fine,'' my father said. '' She'll be fine, next thing you are going to tell me is that she has enhanced mussels,'' i said in a loud voice. My dad got out of his squatting position and said with authority in his voice, '' You will go up stairs, and you will get ready for school tomorrow, and you will go to sleep. Do i make my self clear?'' " Whatever.'' I said in a bored voice. " What did you say to me?" he asked getting angry. " Yes sir." I said with the same amount of boredness. I got off my knees and went into the house to go to bed.

( Alex's dream)

I am running through the forest with Shelly on my back. She had tripped over a tree root and twisted her ankle. I knew exactly where we were in the forest. We were about to hit a clearing were there is a cliff and water below it. I was trying to make it to there without falling again, because They were right behind us. They wanted Shelly for something, but I don't know what. Ah ha, we finally made it to the clearing. Thirty more feet and we be able to jump. Twenty more feet. Fifteen, fourteen, thirteen, twelve, eleven, ten. And then I tripped over the ONLY tree root that was in the clearing and fell on my face. " SHIT!!!!!!!!!"
