Chapter 12

Chapter Twelve

Alex's POv

I look at Kayce like 'WTH!!' "Sorry, thought I might speed things up 'cus I got gymnastics here soon." She says with a sheepish grin. Ashton gets up and walks towards the door but looks back at me with pure longing in his eyes. He opens his mouth then closes it again. Turns back around opens the door and mutters a 'bye' and walks out. Kayce looks at me then looks at the door. "Sorry girl I really thought he would have liked you," she says with sympathy clear in her voice. "Yeah well you thought wrong just like the last time." I snapped at her.

"You know it was an accident."

"Yeah well it still was your fault" her eyes no longer held guilt but anger.

"Well at least I'm trying. It's not even my life." she yells.

"Well then stay out of it." I scream in her face.

"Fine I will. Oh and don't even think about coming to my moving away party 'cus we are officially not friends, we're not frienemies, we are not even enemies, we're sisters, but if you want to blame that all on me then go ahead. Don't expect me to go on your guilt trip and be you friend if you can't even leave things that were in the past in the past. And...... And.....arhgg!!" she screams the last part and slammed the door in my face.

I went into my bedroom and cried. I cried the rest of my tears that I have left in my head and fall asleep.

----------------Next morning------------------

I wake up to my alarm beeping and slam my fist into it until it shuts up. I sat up and groaned. I didn't want to go to work today.

I went to my closet and grabbed my tight little uniform and walked into my tiny apartment bathroom. I turned on the shower, striped, and waited for the water to heat up.

When the water was warm I got in and let the water stream onto my back. I washed and conditioned my hair, washed my body, and shaved my legs. When I was done with my legs I just stood there with the water beating down on my back and enjoyed when my muscles relaxed. My second alarm went off, which reminded me to get out of the shower, and got out.

I put on my bright pink, yellow, and orange eye shadow and finished it off with some aqua colored eyeliner. I put on the sparkly, purple mascara and put on the strapless, little black dress that I was given to me the first day on the job, and put on my stiletto heels with criss-cross straps running up to just below my knees. I put on my big jacket that went down to my knees to cover up the dress.

I walked out the door and to the steps. I walked to my car and drove to the bar.

I got to the bar just on time and took off my jacket. I went behind the counter and stood there waiting for someone to come and buy a drink. I didn't wait long. A man about 20 years of age came up to me and ordered a beer. "Can I get a dance for such a sexy little lady like you?"

"If you got $100,000,000,000 then yeah I'll dance with you, for five minutes."

He looked at me with a grin and said" what about for an hour?"

"do the math," I said sweetly but with a little bit of edge in my voice.

He smirked and pulled out his wallet and pulled out what look like $60,000,000,000,000.

"If you do a good job then I'll give you double."

I gaped at him and look at the wad of money and imagined what two of them look like.

"So do we have a deal or what?"

"Ok let me finish my shift so I don't get fired ok?"

"Why would you care if you got fired or not?"

"Because I don't want to spend all the money and then have no job."

He looked at me with pure shock written on his face. "What time does your shift end?"

"About two hours."

"Alright, skip the beer and get me a margarita."

"Sure." I made him the margarita and gave it to him. He looks at me with longing. Then I remembered where I saw him form.

"Ashton?"

A/N: hey guys sorry it took so long. But when you have practice everyday and then games and then homework on top of that, you really have no time to do this. But softball is almost over one more game. ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...............................................
