Alex's POV
Silver dawn light filtered through the trees of the forest as I padded into camp. It was a clearing in which 17 wolves gathered from all ages in the rotten leaves, rotten sticks and ivy as the forest floor. "You have come, Alex. Your parents will be missed." A young she-wolf known as Silver Dawn padded over, grief flooded her eyes. I held back salty tears, and let my veins turn to ice. My bones split and cracked, and I fell forward on jet black paws. I snarled, " how much longer do we have to fight before our pack can be free?" I howled into a cloudy sky. Silver Dawn looked at me sadly. "I miss you, but continue on your mission. We need more recruits, and orphans need homes. Quickly, before we become extinct. Then who will protect humanity?" The sadness was gone in seconds, replaced by worry and anger. "The Sky Wolves won't hesitate. You must hurry!" And with that, my family dissolved into nothingness. The vision from the pack was gone.
