Tara:

I practically ran the rest of the way to school. I just couldn't shake the feeling I was being followed, and that message, it gave me the creeps. I mean I was in my hallway? Who possibly could have known what I was saying, it just didn't make sense. I felt a wave of relief wash over me as I spotted the school gates. I had never been more glad to see my school in all my life.

I held my head high and walked the rest of the way with ease. That was until I crashed into someone and a loud scream left my mouth.

"Whoa sorry sweetheart"

I looked up to see Ernie the mailman looking at me sheepishly. I let out a shaky laugh and said it was okay, it was my fault after all. I wasn't looking where I was going. He wished me a good day and went off about his day, I suddenly didn't feel so comfortable anymore and sped into the school parking lot. I felt my shoulders loosen as I saw my fellow students gathered in the parking lot and made my way over to Kirsty who was standing with her boyfriend, Matt.

"Hey Tara, what's up", Matt said smiling.

I nodded my head in response to shaking to open my mouth. "Why do you look like you've just seen a ghost?" Kirsty asked, shrugging from Matt's grip.

I opened my mouth to speak but nothing came out. Instead I took my phone from my pocket and thrust it into her hands. She read the text out loud, slowly, her eyebrows raising with each word.

"What kind of sick joke is that", Matt said, disgust all over his face.

"I dunno", I whispered softly.

Kirsty looked at me with curious eyes before pulling me in for a bone crushing hug. I felt another pair of arms wrap around me and I knew Matt had decided to join the love fest. They were telling me that it was probably some joke, and that I shouldn't worry. But I wasn't them who had got that text, it was me. This kind of thing happened in horror films all the time, but you don't realize how scary it is until it happens to you.

I know it was only one text, but that feeling I was getting walking to school, I knew it wasn't a coincidence. "Do you think I should tell my mom? Or even Derek?"

"If you're that worried then yeah you should", Kirsty said soothingly.

I nodded my head in agreement and sighed as the school bell rang. I didn't even get to my locker. Shit.

"Well I've got to go", Kirsty said. "But you and Matt are in the same class, so you can walk together to put your mind at ease", she smiled.

Matt nodded enthusiastically and I shrugged my shoulders. Kirsty left after promising to meet at lunch and Matt and I headed off. He was rambling about some football game but my mind was elsewhere. I'd tell my mom when I get home and then if any other messages come through we can go to the police.

As if on cue my phone went off and I took it from my pocket with shaking hands. My heart sank as I read the text and I quickly glanced around at my surroundings. No one looks suspicious. I looked back at my phone once more, reading the words again.

You won't be telling anyone sweet Abigail, you wouldn't want anything to happen to little Kirsty now would you?

My brow furrowed in confusion as I read it, who was Abigail?

"Everything okay?"

I glanced at Matt and saw he was looking at me with a worried look. I nodded, which he seemed happy about and started on about the football game again. I smiled and nodded like I was listening but inside my heart was hammering as all I wanted to do was run and see if Kirsty was okay.

I mean who is this guy? And what does he want with me?

Unknown:

After watching Abigail enter the school, I sat back into my car and switched on the ignition, the engine roaring to life. Pulling out of the carpark I sped down the road, thinking about what my next move should be.

Stupid bitch.

Thinking she could run off and tell mommy. I sent that message this morning as a warning, to see how good she would be under pressure and she failed, miserably. She will need to punished for that the minute she gets to her new home. Our new home.

I pulled into a supermarket carpark and switched off my ignition. In and out, I have a lot to do, I thought to myself.

I scanned the shelves and grabbed the first roll of duct tape I could find, then I found a dog bowl and leash. Then I grabbed some rope from the garden section and a packet of butcher's knifes from the kitchen department. Smiling in satisfaction I headed to the checkout and plonked down my items.

The cashier, a female, gave me curious glances which I returned with a cold stare. Once my items had been scanned, I threw her the money and was about to leave. Doubling back, I bent down to her ear level and whispered something I was sure no one else could hear.

"Look at me like that again bitch and I will kill you. Literally. I will skin you alive and make you watch me do it you cheap tart", I hissed.

I stood back up straight and saw the fear written across her face. Giving her a warm smile I headed towards the exit.

"Well, have a good day", I called, cheerfully.
