So far, this blissful stroll to my favorite café has been the best part of my day.

This place has been my happy place since high school.

The atmosphere and people is what makes it so wonderful.

The lingering smell of fresh coffee and breakfast in the air.

The tender smiles of all the workers and costumers.

Even the sound of utensils scraping on glass plates and coffee mugs tapping onto the tables could make me shed a tear.

Who would have thought an old 40+ year old café off a beaten path could serve as a haven to someone.

Louis' Cafe has been here longer than most would assume since it's so well kept

I've been dining here since before I could talk since my mother was a regular here as well.

Louis is a kind man.

We're like family.

I don't pass up any opportunity to come here and spend my time.

Especially the rare times that I actually get to leave home for a while.

It's truly a home away from home.

But, it's unusually packed today.

There is an excess of children and adults in tye dye tees.

A summer camp is what I think it read.

Still is kinda calm though.

They seem like well behaved kids. Plus they're having fun.

Luckily, there is one spot open.

Right by the window so you can clearly see the beginning sunset, it felt as if it is just for me.

Not to sound whiny, but I deal with stress and I feel suffocated on a daily basis.

So I love to spend my time at Louis' and enjoy my favorite, usual Cinnamon Cappuccino and occasionally, a book.

One good thing that came out of today is I feel a bit more at ease.

My curfew isn't for another 3 hours, which gives me more time to unwind than usual.

There seems to be quite a line today.

I wonder if Louis is having a special or something of the sort.
