"Remember this place too Koda?"

"This is crazy.."

It's the Grumpy Men's Fair!

Gosh, we used to come here every year when it was in town!

Drew and I would race on our bikes to the park and ride all the rides we were tall enough for.

We'd have enough candy and soda to make any dentist cringe.

It brings back so many fond memories.

I can't believe I almost forgot about this.

"I got word at the library two nights ago that the Grumpy Men's Fair was coming to town. I thought this would be a good place to spend the rest of the day since I didn't want to take you too far from home."

"This. Is. Amazing Drew....I haven't felt so happy in such a long time.."

And cue the tears.

Being able to leave the house,

Asami off my tail,

it's like I'm dreaming.

"Hey, you alright Koda?!"

"Memories got to you a little hard huh? Yeah, I understand"

"Well, let's go in and have some fun shall we? I've already gotten us a pass for the unlimited rides, so we can really enjoy ourselves!"

Before I could respond, Drew grabbed me by the hand and ushered me inside the park.

The smell of hot dogs and funnel cakes lingered filled the cool summer air.

Bright colorful lights mixed with the sounds machines and laughs of children and adults alike.

I feel like a complete kid again.

A kid who always thought the world could be conquered with a strong imagination.
