Alpha Pack, 10:36 am

Antony

"Are you sure?" I asked a member of my pack and he nodded, I growled and stood up"Double check the perimeter again" I ordered, he bowed slightly before going out the Pack house again, in depression I rubbed my face, this day couldn't get any worse can it? Ugh...the rogues disappeared suddenly, but now, they've been gone for 6 weeks.

It's kinda weird, they usually come and blackmail me about where my family was and yadda yadda but this is just ridiculous. Did they move on? I mean, it's been 10 years already. Which means, it's been 10 years since I last seen my family. Oh suck it up Antonio! You have a Pack to run! No more mushy mushy stuff! My wolf scolded, ever since my family left, I turned back to remorseless and cold Antony.

As much as I hate to admit it, I feel kinda relieved that I can be back to my cold side again. I didn't know how much I've been benching it in me ever since Agnes changed my life for the better, but now that she's gone. But not dead gone, only physically gone. I can be as cold as I can be again, letting my anger on troops, barking out orders. Yup. That's the Alpha life.

"ANTONIO!" I heard my office door slam close as foot steps stormed forward my desk, I was facing the window so I didn't see who it was, but from that voice, how could I miss? "What is it Clarity?" I crossed my arms and turned to her,"Antonio you hairless mutt! What have you done this time?!" She roared.

"I've been placing out orders here all day to the Lookouts Clair, and I haven't left this room if you haven't noticed" I stated, she groaned loudly at me and swiped my desk making my papers fall down also my metallic pen holder. I stood up and growled,"What's your problem?!" I narrowed my eyes at her and she glared back at me.

"Let me just show you then..." she pressed and shifted right in front of me and went behind me and she pushed her snout on my leg, urging me to move,"What are you doing?" I asked as she managed to push me out the door making all the other people in the Pack house look weirdly at me, I shot them glares making them turn away. Hearing them mutter:

"I liked the new him, kind, fun and sweet...now he's back to his old self, just brute, cold and mean"

"Used to think he changed for good"

"What's his problem? We're just looking, it's not like we're checking him out"

Leading me to the woods, I glared at her making her stop pushing me and went ahead of me,"Just follow me will ya?!" She growled at me,"Who's going to watch my Pack" I asked, making her stop on her tracks and turned to me. Then her eyes averted to some guy behind me,"Hey you!" She shouted, the guy turned and mouthed: Me?

"Yeah you! Watch the Pack for the Alpha for awhile will ya? Okay, thanks" she said before she started to push me again.

"Are you insane?! Leaving an ALPHA Pack with no legal authority is a hard risk to take Clarity! What if the rogues come back? Who will defend the Pack then, huh?" I asked coldly,"When you find this out, nothing will be able to save your precious Pack Antony" she retorted.

"And for the record bro, it's OUR Pack. Before Dad died 2 years ago he informed me that half of the Pack goes to me and the other half goes to you" she winked cheekily.

"Ah-ah! But he told me I'll be leading it, remember? Since I'm the eldest" I protested,"Older or not I still get the rights to decide, declare and announce as much as you can" she sticked her tongue at me. I rolled my eyes and just followed her, whatever the reason might be this must be worth my time.
