The Attack (part 1)

Omega Pack, 10:28am

I woke up with a loud exploding boom from outside the house, it made some of my things shatter to the floor and it made my room shake as hell,"Oh my god!" I shrieked as I managed to get out of my room, and I quickly went to Tyson's room, he was also awoken by the loud exploding boom,"Mom! What the heck's going on?!" He yelled through the loud sounds of shouting outside as his room shook.

"I don't know! Gather all the people to the basement! I'll get Nathan and the others, they might know what to do!" Then another explosion was heard,"Hurry!" I ushered as he dashed out of his room as I made my way to Nathan's room who was nowhere to be found. I ran down the hall to the living room and saw all of them there.

"Nathan! What the heck's going on?! Why are there explosions?!" I asked through the yelling outside the Pack house,"Agnes....the Rogues are here! I don't know how but they found you!" He said before another exploding boom was heard,"The Lookouts, Ryle and I are going out to face them. Make sure everybody's safe, I'm counting on you sis" he said firmly, all I could do was nod.

But Heather denied that idea of his,"I can't let you do that....you're not going" she grasped on Nathan's arm to prevent him from going out of the shaking house, Ryle already shifted to wolf form,"Come on Nate! Let's go!" He barked as they all waited for Nathan's command.

Nathan sighed,"You know I have to...it's my job to protect this pack. If I won't be able to protect this pack, how on earth can protect you and Kris? all of you? I'll be fine..." he said as he caressed Heather's face then with a shaky sigh she let go, in a split second they were all outside.

Then Tyson, Blanca and Kris went in the room,"Is everybody in the basement?" I asked them,"Yes...well except for you guys and us. We need to go, I don't know how much Dana and Heath can manage them all" Tyson replied, slicking back his still tousled fringe back,"Where's dad?" Kris exclaimed,"Believe me, you don't want to know right now" Heather pushed him and the rest of them back to the basement with me running behind them.

Then echoes of screams, barks and gun shots were heard from outside the house,"Please tell me those bullets aren't silver coated" Blanca said to her mother as we shoved them down the stairs of the basement,"I have no idea...all I know is they're out of flash bombs" she replied. We were finally at the foot of the stairs, the only thing we need to do know is run through the dimly lit corridors to the basement.

Then a bloodcurdling scream was heard after a bloodlust growl and a bark,"I hope we're winning now" Judith muttered,"Why? What's happening outside?!" Blanca asked, we forgot that they had no idea of what's happening right now,"Nothing...just go in the basement" Heather said as we pushed through the door of the basement, only to be greeted by a crowd of scared and confused Weres.

"No need to fret everyone...it's just uh...j-just an aftershock, I think...?" Dana said to the crowd unsure,"Y-yeah...all we need now is to wait before it's done" Heath's voice was cracking with anxiety,"Just huddle around with your loved ones until the coast is clear...okay? Okay." Dana called out as the crowd began to calm down a bit.

Once they saw us they ran to us,"I'm going crazy! I can't take them anymore! They are so stubborn!" Dana said, breathless,"A girl tried to pass me by using flaunts! FLAUNTS!" Heath exclaimed,"Don't worry we're here to help...sit back and catch your breath, we'll do the rest" Judith said and sat them down the floor with the rest of the huddling Weres.
