Third POV

Running. That's what Tyson felt. He was running, but in reality he was unconscious and completely paralyzed. He couldn't see where he was running to in his head, but it felt like he was going faster and faster. He could even feel himself sweating and in need for air in his working lungs. Adrenalin, he would think. He can hear his blood pumping in his ears, the sweat gathering on his hairline. He had to move somehow to make this feeling stop. He tried fidgeting around but it served no use.

"What's happening to me?" He thought to himself as he tried to move again until finally, he woke up.

His eyes opened to the blinding light of his room. He moved his right hand to his mouth that felt covered and found an oxygen mask over it. He raised his left hand up and saw it was in an IV. "What the hell happened to me?" He thought to himself again. Then his bedroom door opened and his Mom's head popped out.

"Oh, thank goodness you're awake" She said, hugging him and kissing his forehead repeatedly. Tyson tried talking, but whenever he did try, his throat would itch and feel sore. He grabbed his neck because of the pain,"You can't talk. The Pack doctor said because it's inflamed from all your shouting, you won't be able to speak until later or if it gets worse, tomorrow" She said sadly, handing her son a whiteboard and a whiteboard marker to write with.

Tyson took it and wrote: Mom what's happened to me?

"You were loosing control, we don't know why yet. What do you feel?" She asked, placing a hand on Tyson's shoulder. Tyson thought for a second before replying hastily.

I feel like I have to move. Like adrenaline is coursing through my veins.

"We tried using our healing capabilities but it served no affect in your condition. Antony said it was normal for you to act that way, it was weird for him to say that" Agnes replied. Looking down at her hands in deep thought, she only looked up when Tyson hit the head board of his bed with the whiteboard to get het attention.

Why would be my condition normal?

"Since Antony's an Alpha like you, he said he's been through what you're feeling right now when he was your age. Where you have to be up and always in action. He said it was all part of the Alpha Adolescence process" She replied.

Alpha Adolescence? What's that Mom?

"He said it's like normal puberty like you're going through. But Alpha Adolescence means that you're maturing to be a full grown Alpha, meaning your connection to your own wolf is getting stronger. My guess is that's why you were having on and off consciousness, you were battling against your own wolf. You have to let it consume you, sweetheart" She explained. But Tyson was still unsatisfied.

But while I was loosing my control, I felt pain in my whole body so I fought against it. Whenever I tried letting go to let my wolf consume me, it hurt. It really hurts me Mom.

Tyson wrote down, his face turning sad and afraid as he remembered the pain he went through,"Oh, Ty. Every Were went through that pain, even I did, your cousins and even Antony. You have to face it and bear it to finally get your wolf and your Rank to have your destiny in your life settled" She smiled sadly at him, trying to reason.

But what if I don't want my destiny settled?

"Then it's like you're saying you don't want to be a Were. It's like turning on your own kind, like you're going Rogue" Agnes said.
