Omega Pack, 11:28am
I was making lunch with my old friends for the Pack, Tyson was probably out training with his friends again as usual. Judith, Daphne and Heather were here with me just basically chatting about how our live's been after......I left Antony with the rest of the Alpha's. I heard that his parents died, they were amazing people. They treated me as if I was their own.
"Mom!" We turned to see Avalon, panting hardly by the front door. She's the daughter of my old friend here, and basically having an affair with my son lately but now I'm not so sure. She has brunette hair and green eyes, she's tall but many out grew her already from the past year. She's also 18, like most of the teenagers here.
"Woods...wolves...n-need help! Now!" She said through her hard panting,"Where?" I quickly dropped the knife I was holding because I was chopping carrots,"Red Oak...woods" she exhaled loudly and wiped her sweat,"You ran from Red Oak woods to here?!" Her mother exclaimed, it was a 6 mile run from Red Oaks to this Pack,"Well I don't have a car so..." Avalon crossed her arms. The rest of us healers–such as Avalon–raced to Red Oak woods as fast as we could.
The trees there were too thick to drive through so we went there by foot, others by paw.
"Where's Tyson?" I asked her, if something happens to him I don't know what I'd do or say to Antony if I ever see him again,"Anywhere far from Red Oaks" she said,"Krister, Dana and Blanca?" I asked,"With him eventually...those foursomes can't be separated" she said. Within a matter of minutes we reached there.
"DROP THE BASS! What the Goddes happened here?!" A random healer exclaimed. He has the rights to say that, Red Oaks was completely withering from the inside and out. But it can't be because Red Oaks has been around here for centuries, only one reason can make these majestic red oaks die, Nature unbalancing.
Then we saw unconscious teenagers, some were still even in wolf form. It's like a nuclear bomb attack.
"Help the others...the rest of you search the area, there might be other wounded wolves here" I ordered, luckily my son wasn't one of the victims, I ushered to the closest Were I saw and tried to heal her,"What happened?" I asked as I bandaged then healed her bleeding arm,"I-I can't recall...every thing happened so fast. W-we saw other Weres not from our Pack circling us all then, the others...they.........t-tried to protect but......the foreign Weres...they flashed bombed us just as the red oaks started to wither black ...that's all I remembered" she stuttered.
Weres...flash bombs...oh Goodness no, it can't be.
The Rogues were back. Somehow they found us.
"What were you kids doing here?" I asked again,"Doing our daily training jog..." she sighed, then her eyes widened,"With our coach...Coach!" She sat up suddenly,"Oh Holy–where is he?!" She exclaimed,"Now calm down, we're sending a search party don't worry" I assured,"No,no,no...It's not okay!" She stood up,"Don't do that you're still recovering! Do you want to bleed out?!" I scolded.
"My name is Anika Blackford...and that coach is my father!"
"Well then Anika Blackford, stay put while we search your goddamn daddy!" I retorted, then she turned silent. She sulked downwards and slouched while she sat down,"Please do..." she muttered softly, I nodded and went to the next Were close to me and healed him.
---moments later---
We came home with 15 injured teenagers, and 9 still missing. We found Anika's dad tied up around a dying tree, he was still alive but he can't hardly speak. Tyson and his friends were still out, I want to search for him but I still had to sort this out first. The good thing is nobody died, mostly injured and unconscious though.
