In my dreams I see you
I wish you were beside me,
Perhaps then you could see,
The things I need to be.
My heart aches for you,
The reason, I have no clue
I reach for you,
Like trees reach for the sun.
Our time together can never be undone,
Memories are my comfort,
Without them I would be left in the cold
The icy grips of our relationship's shadow.
