No one can know,
No one can see,
I put on a smile,
I hide the pain,
I force myself to be okay.
You will never know,
I cry myself to sleep at night,
I silently curse when I walk,
That my heart is heavy and aches ,
That I work hard to never make a mistake.
No one can know,
No one can see,
So I put on a smile
To hide my pain,
I pretend that I am always okay.
My walls will never be down,
Not for one day
Say what you like about me,
But my Cheshire Cat smile shall remain.
