15: ritsu's past.

karu and ritsu sit in a restaurant.

Ritsu: tell me everything about me.

Karu: you are ritsu kugime. You belong to the kugime clan. Our clan were famous for our seals. But you weren't good in seals [they are marks that can contain a power or a thing] as me or father or as anyone expected you to be.

ritsu: than...I was like mama?

karu: yea. You  were good in combat fighting. You were supposed to be the 15th generation leader of the clan. But the marks on both of your arms prevented you to be so.

Ritsu: was I forced or I volunteered to be put on me?

Karu : You diddn't have a choice. Father drugged you and did it to you while you were unconscious. You never came home as a result of that. You hated father. That's why you lived alone until now.

Ritsu: what does the mark do?

Karu: Father and you never told me.

Ritsu: I see. And I thought I could get the answers through you. Nobody knew.

Karu: even the hokage?

Ritsu: I've never asked her. She seem so busy always.

Karu: I see.

Suddenly , a kunai whizzed pass ritsu's chin and lands on the sofa between her chin and her right shoulder. Ritsu is shocked a little by this but calm down again immediately.

She pulls out the kunai and spots a letter that is pinned with the kunai. She pulls out the letter pined with the kunai and opens it. The letter reads:

Come find me if you want your father. But beware, revenge is near. Come if you dare. We shall meet again at the red clan house.

Ritsu passes the letter to karu to read. Karu gasps and stares in horrer.

Karu: we've to save him!

Ritsu: I guess, if I want to know my past. I'll report this to tsunade immediately and we shall set off then.

Half hour later they set off after having tsunade's permission. Only karu and ritsu were on this mission. They travelled to the red clan house as demanded. But on the way, they were ambushed by a male ninja.

Ritsu: you go first! I'll take care of him.

Karu: no, you go first, you're better in combat than me. You have to save him.

Ritsu: alright then.

Ritsu leaves karu behind and heads towards the red clan house. ritsu reaches the house in a few minutes. The house was decorated with 2 huge human statues outside. And as the name suggests, the whole building is painted red.

She walks inside with caution. As she progresses in, she sees carved writings on the wall. The writings tell the story of the kugime clan's history. She walks further in and sees coffins hanging on the wall.

On top of each coffin, there was a picture of the dead person. They were each labelled 1st generation, 2nd generation... and so on. It seemed that the generation leaders were all placed in here.

She walks even further and sees a table with seal marks on the floor. The table is a ritual table.

Suddenly a serious pain hits ritsu's head. It was a pain ritsu has never felt before. It was so painful that it made her fall to the floor and become unconscious. When she woke up, she finds herself tied to the table. She struggles to get away but can't. Her weapons were all taken away too.

Meanwhile, at konoha...

shizune bangs through the door of the hokage's office.

Tsunade: what?!

shizune: an intruder has been caught and he has confessed that he works for karu. And he has be given money to throw a kunai at ritsu. Apparently, he has an elder brother who is ordered to kill ritsu when necessary.

Tsunade: go tell kakashi!!!

Kakashi takes hanare and yamato along.

Footsteps then can be heard from afar. It becomes louder and louder, the person was closing in. Ritsu, couldn't see who, she was too tightly tight to the table. The man walked nearer the table. "remember me?" the voice said. Ritsu couldn't see who but she recognise the voice.

Ritsu: karu. Why? Why did you do all this? Is father fine?

Karu: what do you mean why? Why do you care so much about him? He's the one who made you suffer and made you unable to be the 15th generation leader! Why?! You probably don't know what I'm talking about since you've lost your memory.

Ritsu: I remember everything after that painful headache that made me unconscious. Everything about me started here.

Karu: don't lie to me thinking I will believe you. Making me believe me you are my elder sister wouldn't make me sympathise you and free you.

Ritsu: this mark on my arms were given to me when I was drugged. My father loved you more than me because I couldn't do seals as well as you or him and yet I was to become the 15th generation leader. And at that time, tsunade-sama was dead and he is so loyal to her. So he decided to put these seals on my arms to prevent from me being the 15th generation leader and also at the same time revive tsunade-sama in a way that as long as I live, so will she.

Karu: hahahaha....what are you talking about?! It is obviously because father favours you that's why he chose to put the seals on you! I will kill you! And put the seals on myself! I will prove to my clan's people! I am not inferior to you!

Ritsu: what are you talking about?

Karu: you never knew this did you? They despise me! They think you are better than me just because you have made a name for yourself! It must be because of those seals! Those are the only things you have that I do not have! You shall die to make me powerful! Start the ritual!

The clan members walk out from another exit and surround her. They start chanting and the seal on the ground light up. Chakra strings attach to ritsu's body and to karu's.

Ritsu: don't! you might die! Not everyone can handle the seals!

Karu: like I'm going to let you to hog the seals forever.

Suddenly, *boom* the walls cracked and crumbles apart. Kakashi is seen through the hole.

Kakashi: ritsu!

Karu: it's too late. My clan members have already started the ritual. She will die! And I shall be powerful!

kakashi charges towards where ritsu is but a barrier surrounds the clan members and the ritual table. Kakashi tries to use raikiri to break the barrier but to no avail.

Ritsu screams as the seal tears from her arms and is transferred to karu's. the ritual was complete and ritsu faints over.

Karu: hahahaha... I am powerful!

Not soon later, karu faints over. At this moment, karu's father,yamato and hanare walks through the exit and sees what has happened. Hanare walks to the side of kakashi.

Hanare: I saved him. He was being captured nearby as you expected.

Karu's father screamed and wailed. He kneeled down and restarts the ritual again all by himself. This time he takes the seals and puts it back at ritsu. When the ritual was over, karu woke up. Karu realizes that the seal was gone and back on ritsu's arms.

Karu: why?!

Karu's father: you are not able to carry the seals, you will die. You do not have large chakra levels as your sister. And I cannot let you die, you are precious to me.

Karu weeps when he hears this. kakashi then carries ritsu back to the village.
