18: becoming a clan's leader.

Ritsu returns to the clan's mansion once more. She has to grab the clan's leader seat no matter what. At least that was what she decided what she will do.

All the 4 heads from the branch family except one sit in a room behind their own tables.  The tables were aligned to the sides of the walls making a pathway leading to the clan's leader's table.

There was a designated seat for each of the heads and miruai was sitting from the furthest from the clan's leader table. The clan's leader table was empty as there was no one to sit on that seat yet.  Ritsu and sikshe[one of the heads of the branch family] walk into the room from opposite directions.

When they meet at the entrance they give each other murderous glares.

Sikshe: I don't even understand why you are here. You know you can't be the leader according to clan rules.

Ritsu: even so, I shall not allow you to be one. Since nobody is willing to stand up against you, I shall. I will sit on that seat and abolish that stupid rule that states a person who has seals on his body can't be a leader.

Sikshe: we shall see.

They walk into the entrance together.

Butler: this meeting is to decide on the clan's leader.

Sikshe: I do not even agree of ritsu being a participant of this event. She abandoned our clan and became an anbu.

Ritsu: I did not abandon the clan. Mind your words. I just simply became an anbu.

Sikshe: Okay then, you are not even a kugime. Your biological father died and when your biological mother married the 14th generation leader, you simply became a kugime by changing your surname. Everyone knows you real name is ritsu yugami.

ritsu: that's nothing.I have the abilities.

sikshe: The fortune-teller said that you are cursed. Anyone who goes close to you shall die or meet in trouble. Do you want the clan to face extinction?

Ritsu: I may not be a kugime, but I have more rights than anyone here. I saved your childrens' life from this evil man who tried to kill them 3 years ago.

Sikshe: tsk! Then how about the curse? You caused your ex-boyfriend to die .

Ritsu: that has nothing do to with this. I've only caused people to die.

Sikshe: hahahahaha....what to say. You don't feel remorseful at all for them?

Ritsu: this is a political competition. I don't talk about feelings, neither do I when I do my missions. Plus, I don't remember you talking about feelings when you tried to killed those children 3 years ago.

Sikshe: what a tough girl. Deicide people, for the clan to face extinction because of her curse or to follow me as I make this clan prosper.

Ritsu: prosper? Don't joke, you only do things for your selfish gains.

Butler: please start voting.

After a few minutes, the result was generated.

Butler: the clan's leader is, ritsu kugime.

Ritsu walks up to the clan's leader seat. Sikshe feels angry as he looks at ritsu's back and the victory of this competition. Ritsu seats at the table of authority.

Ritsu: first, sikshe is to be banished for the clan for his crime 3 years ago.

Sikshe: what?!!!

Ritsu:  the 14th generation leader was willing to cover this crime to prevent our clan from becoming a laughingstock doesn't mean that I am willing to let this go.
