Rebecca's POV
I mind-linked Alpha Drake "Rouges."
I don't think he listened as he never mind-linked me back. I hope he's ok. He's the nicest Alpha ever. When his father was Alpha and he had a day off from Alpha Training, he would always ask his father to visit me in Beta Training. When I found my mate, instead of him becoming Beta, Alpha Drake allowed me to stay as Beta.About three minutes later I mind-linked John, the best pack tracker and Cole, the best pack fighter. At first it was hard to connect to their mind-links but in the end I managed to.
"Guys, there are rouges and Alpha Drake won't reply to his mind-link. I think he's in trouble!" At least John and Cole listened to me. They don't exactly like that I'm still Beta, I'm 20, they are both 45 and Alpha Drake is one year younger than me. They believe in traditional stuff. Male Betas. Male Alphas. Bullying lower ranking wolves.
"We are on our way with other trackers and fighters." They both replied at the same time.
Cole then added, "Rebecca, meet us by the Northern Border. That's where the rouges are." Cole is nicer with me. He was the one that supported me when we asked the Alpha to make bullying lower ranking wolves illegal in pack, it worked but I think he did it just to impress Alpha Drake.
I growled before saying "No time! Do you want the Alpha dead?!"
I heard them whimper as I could sense them bow their heads in submission. The Alpha says I have a big bite for a Beta. I guess he's right! Strangely I've always thought the Alpha has treated me like a sister. I think it's because he's an only child. It's nice, but I've never had the courage to tell him. I don't know why. After mind-linking and thinking I shifted into my white wolf. I ran and ran. I feel like I'm going to faint, I'm running that fast. I don't care. I just want my brother... I mean my Alpha to be ok.
Then I heard muffled shouts for help. I estimated it was about 20 metres away. I'm good at that stuff. I originally did Tracker Training in the Pack School before I was voted to be the next Beta.
Then everything started going blurry. What's going on? Am I dying? Please, I'm too young plus the Alpha needs me!
Everything went black. I couldn't see a thing. I wasn't asleep. I was unconscious. I could only hear the rouges and the Alpha.
I tried to shift but I couldn't. I could then feel my mates pain, he fell backwards onto his back. I think he became unconscious like I did but he was in human form. I hope he's ok.Then I woke up about 20 minutes later, I was still a wolf so I carried on running. The muffled screams were only 10 metres away. Woah, I was unconscious for a while. It wasn't too dark when I started to run but now it was pitch black.
Where are the trackers and fighters? Useless men. There are 2 types of men. The useful and the useless. The group of trackers and fighters they sent out are useless men.
Then I got to the Alpha. What a horrible sight...
