Chapter 23: Alpha Jonas

Drake and I enter my sister's hospital room and we see somebody who we didn't want to see. This person is Alpha Jonas of the HiddenLycan Pack. The pack that attacked my pack, killed my parents, took me and Ella-Louise hostage and abused us for years.

I growl at his presence. I despise him if that isn't clear. He always wears a posh suit which is really annoying. He even tried to mark me because he's mateless. He is such a pathetic, self-loving jerk.

"Hello Makenzie, I see your making friends and with a fake Alpha, who is now a Beta. How cute!" He says. He infuriates me, I feel like ripping his throat out and starting a full scale war.

"Hello Alpha Jonas. This is Beta Drake, my mate. Now get your disgusting, little mateless hands off my little sister or I will rip your throat out because you are a stupid, spoiled idiot with nothing better to do than kill a pack you were good friends with, then kidnap the Alpha and the Luna's two daughters and abuse them for years." After I say that everyone but Ella-Louise stares at me with wide eyes. Ella-Louise would too but she's in a coma.

"Well... I still have a warrant for you and your sister so legally your mine now say goodbye to your mate." After he says this I notice bruises all over my sisters arms and legs which weren't there before.

"You. Hit. My. Sister." I growl out leaving long pauses between each word I say.

"Yeah and you wasn't there to take her beating for once, it felt good to finally hit her." He replies.

Drake then lunges at Alpha Jonas but he throws Drake into the wall which causes him to pass out. While I try to help my unconscious mate, Jonas just laughs.

"Jonas you jerk! Why did you do this to my mate? Plus Alpha Rebecca and Alpha Triston took the warrant off me and my sister." I shout.

Just at the right moment Rebecca storms in and shouts in her Alpha tone, "Alpha Jonas, get out of my territory now!" He just stands still until Rebecca adds, "I don't want to rip you heart out of your chest."

And with that he shifts and runs out of the Pack Hospital...
