Chapter 29: Mother's Day

Rebecca's POV

Sunday 6th March 2016 (Mother's Day)

I watch as all the families celebrate Mother's Day. I sigh as I realise I don't have a mother to spent Mother's Day with, I wish my parents were still alive, then I wouldn't of been an Omega before Drake and my father chose me to be Beta.

My thoughts get interrupted when Triston walks into our room. He doesn't talk to me, he just sits next to me and pulls me into a hug, he knows this day is one of the hardest days of the year for me.

We immediately stop hugging when there's a knock on the door. I wipe my tears, slowly stand up then open the door. I see one of the little 5-year-old girls in the pack holding a bunch of thornless white and red roses and what I think is a card in a pale blue envelope. She had the biggest and one of the most cutest smiles on her little face.

"Happy Mother's Day, Alpha Rebecca!" She says as she hands me the envelope and roses.

I smile but then everything slowly goes blurry.

Maybe I will just close my eyes for a while...

And with that, I pass out.
