Chapter 20: The Truth

Drake's POV

I can't believe I just shouted out that Rebecca is the true Alpha, not me. Well, at least a nurse has taken Makenzie and Ella-Louise to get treatment.

Everyone keeps staring at me with their painfully piercing eyes as I just stand there thinking about what to tell them. What if they think I'm an intruder? What if they think I'm going to kill them?

Then right then, at the perfect moment, Rebecca and Triston walk into the hospital and they both stand by my side.

"Alpha Rebecca, what should we do with this traitor?" A pack fighter says. Rebecca just stands there wide eyed.

"So you told them? Don't worry bro, I'll explain and make you Beta, your mate will be safe." Rebecca mind-links me.

"He is not a traitor. When I was 2 and he was 1, there was a rouge attack. Our mother, Luna Layla and I was taken, she was killed and they left me by the North-East Border. My father Alpha Turner and Cole found me. Cole then adopted me but stayed distant. That's why Drake let me be Beta and why he did all that nice stuff for me. So I am making my little brother Beta and taking the warrant off Makenzie and Ella-Louise Love and allowing them to join this pack. Alpha Triston agrees with this and if anybody disobeys us or the Beta and his mate, you don't want to know what would happen." Rebecca said confidently.

Everyone bowed their heads in submission as Rebecca and Triston left the pack hospital.

I guess my sister is ready to be Alpha...
