Chapter 17: Chasing My Mate

One hour after Drake left Triston with Rebecca...

I am now lying on the floor as the badass that is my mate kicked me in the stomach. All I can think about is that the sparks that flew around my body as she kicked me. Oh and her little sister, her adorable 5 year old sister.

I then get up and shift into my midnight black wolf and run after my mate, it's too dangerous for her to keep running.

I then see her running whilst carrying her little sister by the East Border. I jump in front of her and she stops. Once she has stopped I shift back into human form and I am wearing the charcoal grey suit I was wearing before I shifted.

"What?" Mackenzie said annoyed.

"I am not leaving my mate, you will be safe here. You will be a Luna." I say a little too loudly.

"Y...your an Alpha?" She stutters.

"Yes, but it's a little complicated." I reply quietly this time.

"Okay, I will stay with you. As long as you get this warrant off." She isn't a badass, she is a total badass. The world's most wanted rouge, the world's most prettiest girl and she's almost the world's most worst person at making deals with people but that makes her cute.

"The only way is to mark you, the warrant will be off you and your sister when you're a Luna. Anyway, I am Alpha Drake Taylor, nobody would want to face me."  I try to act cheesy to make her like me more.

"Okay, maybe when my sister is in bed and it's quiet later on tonight we can get to know each other a little better..." After she says this she bites her bottom lip.

"Umm, I'm not sure..." Then after a few minutes I understand what she means, "Ooh! Yea, sure. If you're not too tired."

She giggles which drives me totally crazy and says, "Your cute when you act stupid..."

"Yeah, okay. If you say so."

After that we walk towards the pack house to put Ella-Louise down...
