Your P.O.V.

I sat straight up on the stairs of the shrine. Sweat was glistening on my forehead and my hair was sticking to my cheeks. I looked around and saw that the sun was barely rising and bright orange was painted across the sky. I breathed in and out slowly and realized that I might of had a nightmare. I looked behind me to see Yato fast asleep. I couldn't stand seeing him anymore after the Nora incident. It made me sick to think that I was just another one of his 'other' regalias. I felt my stomach do an uncomfortable flip which made me realize that I didn't belong here. I stood up from the shrine and ran I fast as my feet could take me just so I could forget everything that happened. I was glad that Yato was asleep-- so he couldn't see me running away.

Flashback:

"So, do you wanna know how you can protect yourself from Phantoms?" Yato asked. I just shrugged and Hiyori seemed curious as ever. Yato curved his lips into a smile.
"Ok, so you make your hand into a halberd just like this, and say, "A boarder line!'"
I seemed a bit unsure on whether it was true or not, but just as he said, a long transparent line appeared before me and blocked a small green Phantom. I was taken aback and stared at my own two fingers in awe.

End of flashback

I started to slow down my pacing and stopped by a nearby building in the city. I forgot that I could make a border line, and Yato... taught me.

Yato's P.O.V.

I woke up ever so soundly, and I have to say, I was having a very good dream. However, I didn't feel the presence of (Y/n) anywhere. I looked around and started to panic. Where could she have gone off to! I can't loose another regalia that just quit on me! I thought (Y/n) was different... Nevertheless, I got up and searched everywhere for the emerald eyed beauty.
Wait did I just say beauty? Maybe I have payed attention to her eyes more than usual--

Ugh, I gotta stop having weird obsessions.

Your P.O.V.

I finally reached the middle of the city. This was the farthest I could go before I get lost. Many images of Nora played inside my mind and remembering that Yato killed a regalia. Tears welded up in my eyes and started to roll down my cheeks. All the pieces started to fit together now... Yato is going to kill me, and he will use Nora when he's finished.

My lime green eyes were glistening as I looked up at the sky. It was already night, time flies so quickly when you're running. It also started to get chilly in the air and my jacket wasn't keeping warm enough. I lifted my hands in front of my mouth and blew on surface making small warm clouds. I looked around and noticed that the streets were getting dark and everyone was leaving. I felt a chill run down my spine knowing that I was going to be alone... In the dark. I frantically searched everywhere for a place with light, but there were none. My heart was literally jumping out of my chest in fear. I was about to give up when I saw a small girl crouched in an alley way. At first I thought she was homeless, but something was odd about her...
