A year after Hiccup disappeared from Berk, a very deadly disease called Night Lox hit the village. When someone is affected by it, their skin becomes hot and sweaty yet they feel as if their insides were freezing. Soon they start developing bruises through their body and within a month, they are dead if they can survive the pain that long. Both my parents were affected by the disease but they died almost a month after contradicting it.

Stoick was kind enough to take me in and made me his heir since Hiccup was gone. We never found him nor the dragon that took him. Stoick was devastated and heartbroken when he came back empty handed. Even though no one really liked Hiccup that much, they were all upset. Even Snotlout  looked saddened by the loss of his own cousin.

And now that I'm turning twenty, I know it's time for me to find a husband soon. And even though I don't want to marry, I am Stoick's heir and shield maiden, I have to for the sake of Berk. Stoick has chosen a husband for me but I'm suppose to meet him the night before our wedding day. What would he be like? Would he be kind to me? Would he be demanding and rude? I'm nervous to tell you the truth but one thing's for sure, that i he so much as tries to hurt me I will snap his neck with no hesitation
