"This gown looks so beautiful on you!" Ruffnut proclaimed as Astrid looked at herself in the mirror.

"Yeah....I guess." Astrid said quietly with a sigh. Yes she looked pretty but inside she wasn't feeling that happy at all.

"Something wrong?" Ruffnut asked her friend and giving her a look of concern.

"Hmm? Oh it's nothing really." Astrid said trying to act casual and glanced down at the floor. Ruffnut frowned and tilted Astrid's head up so they were eye to eye.

"Don't give me that crap Astrid, you are definitely not fine. I can see it in your eyes, hear it in your voice and I can feel it in the air surrounding you."

"Okay fine! I am very nervous and I don't wanna do it but I know I must! And I'm scared about what this guy is gonna be like too!"

"Well he's obviously either very nice to take you as his wife. And he probably has a good taste in women too." Ruffnut said making her tone teasing at the last one.

"You sound weird saying that!" Astrid said shoving Ruffnut with a laugh. "But the thing is that...I don't want this...yet..."

"I know you wanted a wedding with some other guy who you love."

"Yeah and this...it feels so rushed..."

" I know hon, I know." Ruffnut sighed giving Astrid a hug. "But we'll be there with you. Me, Fishlegs, Snotlout and Tuffnut."

"Thanks Ruff, you're a great friend." Astrid said hugging her back. What would she do without her best friend?
