Tomorrow was going to be horrible. I wasn't ready for the incredibly short weekend to come to a sudden end. I lay in my bed, on the bottom bunk of my room staring aimlessly at the wooden planks that supported the mattress above me. I was bored, there was nothing to do in my house. It seemed like I had done everything I could with every form of entertainment in my house.

I still turned over, shifting my weight to the side and grabbing my tablet. It was already twenty-four minutes into eleven and I hadn't began the essay that was due second period tomorrow. I had dragged my self through another nine months of school. It was nearly over. We were getting closer and closer to the end of the marking period and I had atleast a dozen assignments due within the next week.

I heard a knock on my door and it slowly opened. It was my mom. She looked around my small room that was scattered with toys and clothes from my brother. "Hello, what a suprise to see you."

I knew what she was saying. I spent almost all my time locked in my room. It was just so peaceful in my room. My bed was here and I could do what I wanted without anyone bothering me.

"Oh, hey. How was your day?" I ask. She steps more into my room and tells me a brief summary of what her day consisted of. The usual; a bad commute, annoying co workers, her legs were throbbing etc. She finally leaves and I go to my closet. I looked at the wide range of clothes I have but specifically the only six shirts i actually wear. I pick out one of them and toss it on my nighstand, and I continue to do the same with my other articles of clothing for tomorrow.

I went back to my bed flipping the pillow to my comfort. I didn't care if I wasn't going to finish my essay, I'll make up some bullshit about why I couldn't do it.

It felt like I had slept a measly five minutes when my alarm began blaring at six-thirty. I swiped the notification bar off and the alarm instantly stopped. Nobody else was up yet so I walked into the completley dark hallway to get to the bathroom. I smacked the wall right to the door until I hit the light switch to where the delay finally lit the small room. I closed the door behind me and turned on the faucet. I let the cold water overflow in my palms and splashed my face with water.

It did almost nothing, as after the ordeal i was still tired as before. "Dont worry...", i mumbled as I squeezed the toothpaste onto the brizzles of my toothbrush, "...only another five more days until a break...".After brushing my teeth i wet my hair and applied acne wash to my face as usal. It had been fifteen minutes and I shuffled back to my room getting dressed and making my bed. I had another ten minutes to spare, so i checked Instagram quickly. It was the normal feed. Steven Universe, Over the Garden Wall, art, Youtubers and wait...thats not normal.

There was a photo of one of my friends. She had taken a selfie of herself, (which she doesn't normally do), but in the backround was a hospital bed, with her mother laying still in it. Four hours ago. I read the caption.

Ugh, shes been like dis for dayz, its gettin worse...and im gettin worried :(

I clicked on the comment section and began typing.
Aw, sorry to hear that Bri, hope she gets better!

I clicked the screen off and seconds after i heard the notification. She had responded. She tagged me in my embarrassing username which i
I've been saying I would change for months.

@topyHD thnx. me 2 it was just a cough a couple dayz ago but now its gettin bad, Ill update u.

I told her alright and left the hosue, 3ds in hand as I walked to the train station. I was actually a bit earlier than normal so I could actually walk slowly. I eventually got to the station and continued playing Smash as the train decided to not arrive for the next eight minutes. I was getting somewhat better as I practiced wave bouncing, an advanced technique, in my eyes at least. I was getting the hang of it but my timing was off sometimes. I watched as the character on screen did a side special instead of the backwards neutral special like I wanted.
