8. Is this jealousy??

Randhir couldn't do anything but to watch Sanyukta and Rehaan going out together. He could feel that he is developing some kind of hatred towards this guy. His annoyance was clearly depicted in his face. He had no idea about what the real reason behind his anger was. Whether its because he embarrassed Sanyukta sometime before or its because they both are having fun time together. But somewhere deep down his heart, he thanked Rehaan for making his Farzi smile, while all he could do is make her cry. After around 1 hour, he could spot both of them once again. The winners of the different events conducted were to be disclosed.

Host- So I'm here to announce the first award, which is the Cutest couple of the night. This award goes to none other than.......
Parth and Vidushi!!! Give a big round of applause ladies and gentlemen!!

Both Vidu and Parth jumped in joy and hugged each other. Parth looked at Randhir standing behind. Randhir immediately gave a huge grin as if stating that it was a known fact to him. He was genuinely happy for them. This is not something new to Randhir and Sanyukta. They already know that these two people are destined to be together. Though Vidharth never expressed their feelings openly, everybody from their school know they will end up as one and this award is just a proof of it. The Best dancer award was grabbed by a guy called Sahil. Koustuki was the winner of Musical chair. And Soon, many other awards were given.

Host- So guyz... The next 3 awards which I'm gonna announce have always created sensation every year. The winners of these awards have always been a known figure to the entire college, be it a positive way or a negative one. Are you guyz ready to know who they are?? (Everyone hooted) So the next award will be The hottest chick of the the night and this award goes to.... Ishika Talwar!!

Ishika went up the stage with a smirk. She was given a Diva crown and a trophy. She came down and side-hugged Randhir.

Host- I would like to announce a much more interesting award, which is the Funniest character of the day!! This award goes to....(the host gave a pass. But this answer was obvious. Everyone started shouting Sanyukta's name except Vidharth and Randhir. Vidharth had no idea of what happened with Sanyu. They were confused about why all were shouting her name)

Host- Well I must say, You guyz are really smart! Please Put your hands together for the one and only baboon of the day Sanyukta Agarwal!

They hooted once again and started making weird noises. It was highly insulting. No one has ever treated her this way, let alone Randhir. She, after taking deep breathes, went to the stage and collected the trophy. She silently came down and stood beside Rehaan. When Rehaan saw Sanyukta very upset, he felt bad for her. To light up her mood, he first nudged her with his elbow and smirked. She, though upset, nudged him back in the same manner. He nudged her again with more force and she turned her face towards him and nudged back with a pout. Soon, their nudging became impulsive and they started pushing each other.

The last award was The Romeo of the night and it was obvious that Randhir would grab it. He went to the stage and collected the award. Though it was a happy moment, he was not to able to smile and the reason unknown once again. He turned back and the scene gave him one more huge shock.
