A New Life

chapter 7 (she's back)

Everything was going perfect, they talked, they made fun of eachother. Then Lisa happened. It seems that Lisa has more classes with Damian than Lilley does. Lilley as only one class with him.

All I hear is Lisa. Lisa this and Lisa that! I wish you would shut up about Lisa!-Lilley thought.

That week was a very short week. We didn't have school on Monday and Friday was early release. Lilley hates those weeks because she doesn't spend time with Damian a lot. On Tuesday, Lilley heard a voice talking about Damian and Lisa.

"Don't you think that Damian and Lisa make a cute couple," he said.

Lilley buts in to say,"I think they aren't dating."

"Yet!"he said.

Lilley got so mad in the inside. She is tired of listening people talk about Lisa and Damian. Before Lisa came back, everyone was talking about how Lilley and Damian made a cute couple. And know Lilley is very worried. Now he is starting to to talk to her more then he talks to Lisa.

I would want to talk to him more but how can i? Lisa plays volleyball. She practices in the afternoon,just like football. I have to practice in the morning. I am mad!-Lilley thought.

The next day during science he was making funny faces a me. She did funny faces too. They did funny faces all the time. The teacher noticed and said,"stop playing around. Everyone nows you are a couple. Don't need to show it."

"What!" Lilley and Damian yelled.

"Ooooo!"everyone exclaimed.

They both looked at eachother and started blushing. Everybody.was starring at both of them. After class,they bumped into eachother.

"Could you belive that!" Damian yells.

"I know! So akward!" Lilley exclaims.

"I'm tired of everybody confusing are friendship." Damian said.

"Me too. What is wrong with us being friends? I don't get it." Lilley responded.

"Hey Damian, " Mrs Hertune said.
(Mrs. Hertune moved to eighth grade but she isn't Lilley's teacher)

"Hey Mrs. Hertune,"he replied.

"Are you and Damian going out?" Mrs. Hertune asked.

"Mrs. Hertune! No! That is the second time the teacher confuses our friendship," Lilley responds.

"Do you like him?" Mrs. Hertune asked.

"Between you and me, I do,"Lilley responded.

"I knew it!" She yelled.

"Shhhh!" She exclaimed.

That day was the early release. Damian didn't have football practice that day.
Lilley had to walk to Brookshire Brothers.
Lilley walks with Lindsey and Shawn. Before they left Lilley saw Lisa talking to Damian. Shawn started singing,"Damian and Lisa sitting in a tree! K-i-s-s-i-n-g!,"
Damian interrupts," stop!"

"Okay! Relax!" Shawn replied.

Thank you! I don't like that!-Lilley thought.

Lisa left. So Damian came where Lilley,Shawn and Lindsey were talking. He whispers," sorry about that."

"What do you mean?" Lilley asks.

"I saw you a little jealous?"he asked.

"Why would I be jealous ...... please, me! No." Lilley replied.

"Okay jealous girlfriend!"Damian yelled as he left.

"Shut up!"Lilley yelled.

"Y'all make a cute couple," Shawn said.

I know - Lilley thought.
