"Lisa?" Lilley asked to herself.
Why would he be excited to see Lisa again?Last time, his heart was broken. What if he falls in love with her again? I don't want that to happen again.
On Monday, Lilley forgot all about the Lisa drama, and Damian forgot about too. Again Lilley's teacher wanted for them to copy down a page in their notebook. While Lilley was making a conversation with her friend, Damian interrupts the conversation to one up Jay,(Lilley's friend)
"I'm in honor band so..."Damian says.
"What is honor?"Lilley asked.
"Honor is the highest level you could get dummy!"Damian responds.
He just called me dummy. Is that a complement?"I didn't know,sorry." Lilley said.
"I was just kidding!"Damian responds.
It was really hard for Lilley not to stare at him while the we're talking. When Lilley would turn her head the other way, she could see Damian staring at her. The next day the teacher said she was going to move everybody's seat. Lilley wanted to sit as close as possible to Damian. That didn't happen. She still sat across from him but she couldn't complain because she had a better view of him. Next thing I know Lisa walks in. She was in our class. And the teacher puts her right in front of Damian.
"Please move her!"Lilley thought.
"Mrs Lee, I can't see," a boy complained.
"I could move!" Lisa shouts.
"I guess," she said.
Lisa switched with a boy that sat all the way in the back. Lilley was so happy because now she doesn't have to worry about her. Then the teacher was going to call out the passing grades of our test.
"Damian-87, Jay-90, Lilley-83,"Mrs Lee called out.
Damian looks at Lilley and then points at her with a funny face and words out- hahaha. I got a better grade than you.
Lilley words out- oh shut up. I tried my best.
He just goes back to laugh Lilley. When the teacher tells them to pack up Lilley goes with her friend Jay. Jay sits right next to Damian. He keeps laughing at her. She punches him in the shoulder,not to hard but not to soft. When she was waiting for her mom, Jay asks her who she likes. Lilley had already told her in 7th grade.
"Do you like Damian," Jay asked.
"I used to," Lilley said but in her heart she was like yes I do like him.
"I could see both of yall together. If I can see yall together, other people could see yall. Nobody knows?" Jay said.
