A New Life

chapter 2 (nothing to worry about)

Lilley hasn't told anybody about her deafness,even though she is not deaf yet. All she is worried about is Damian.

1st period- not here.
2d period- he's not there.
3d period- nothing.
4th period- Lilley was starting to get worried.
Lunch.
5th period- not there.
6th period- he's there.

All Lilley could think of is Damian. She wasn't even paying attention to her teacher. All she was doing was looking at him. And then the teacher said she was putting them in alphabetical order. And of course the letter A and the letter L aren't next to each other. Lilley could see Damian sneaking a peak at her. All Lilley noticed about him was that he was talking with another girl. Lilley got so jealous. She didn't want to loose him so fast. She already felt bad because nobody knows about her disease. And that in just a few more months she wouldn't be able to hear his beautiful voice.

Lilley's friend,like a brother to her says
"You can do better than that."

"What! I have no clue what you're talking about!"Lilley yelled

"I know you like him,"Brendan says.

"No! You're crazy!"Lilley excaims.

"The way you look at him,"

"Okay, maybe I like him a little."Lilley says.

No, I like him a lot. He is my one and only.
