A New Life

Chapter 13(omg!)

Lilley came back from winter break all sad and dull. Her cousin had died. Only two people knew about that: Lindsey and Shawn. All Lilley wanted to get distracted with basketball, school and Damian. On Tuesday, Lilley was going to science class( that is we're she gets to see Damian). The teacher had said they were going to move seats on Friday. That day, they were going to do a new set of partners.

"What times do you you have available lills?" Damian asked.

"5,10,and 3. What about you?" Lilley asked.

"Darnet! I don't have any of those!" Damian exclaimed.

Lilley was bummed. She wanted to have Damian as one of her partners but you can't always get what you want. She still hoped that she will sit next to him or near him at least. Thursday he wasn't there. Lilley was sad. But in her mind she was like," relax Lilley , just relax." But Lilley couldn't relax all she was thinking about was her cousin and Damian. But she was also thinking about someone else. Justin. She has art with him. But Lilley isn't sure if she really likes him. Lilley is only sure that she likes Damian. On Friday Lilley was excited. They were getting new seats. Then the teacher called it," Damian and Lilley over here."

"Awwww!" Everybody yelled. Lilley was blushing. Damian was blushing too. Everybody thought that they were cute together. And now Lilley just feels awkward. Them two, alone, in one table. But Lilley liked it. Then she went to go see Mrs. Hertune. But Damian had to go to math. And Lilley has math last. So they both walked together.

"Where are you headed?" Damian asked.

"To math." Lilley responded.

"Really! With who?" He asked again.

" I have Mrs. Silber " Lilley said.

"Oh, I have Mr. Malley," Damian said. "Well I have to go."

"Okay see you outside in a bit!" Lilley yelled.

"See ya," Damian responded.

Today was a good day. But do I really, really like him or do I like Justin?-  Lilley thought.
