She was supposed to be spending time with Wilmer this week and then the next three weeks with her family. She was heading off on tour in 4 weeks and time with everyone was important but plans changed.

Demi had planned to stay at Wilmer's for the week while her family were in New York. They would arrive home Monday and then the next two weeks would be spent with them before Demi left for the 'Neon Lights Tour' but unexpected changes occurred resulting in her being alone at her family home... Wilmer broke up with her.

She was expecting it... Things weren't at all well between them the last few months but it still hurt like a bitch.. Demi thought that maybe they just needed time apart. It wasn't the first time they'd broken up so she wasn't so worried about it. She loved Wilmer and he loved her but things just weren't supposed to be right now.

So Demi was at home now waiting for her family to get home in 5 days. She didn't tell them she was there because she didn't want them to be worried and ruin their vacay. Instead she worked out and went over her songs constantly. She had a few meetings that week but none that would cause too much effort. So for now she just chilled in home moping about, like anybody would after a breakup.

Demi had always liked Sunday night's, especially when she didn't have to work the next day.

Currently situated on the couch, Demi sobbed to a romantic movie on her tv. The discovery channel would normally be her top pick but her broken heart chose otherwise.

Ironic... How people who have just had their heartbroken try to find comfort in watching people who are in relationships..

While her vision was blurred (her sobs mostly due to over thinking and nothing to do with the movie) Demi managed to spot the time on the digital clock beside the TV.. It had struck midnight and she knew there was no point in staying up because it would result in a night full of tears, so Demi turned the tv off and sat up wiping her eyes.

Her parents dog jumped up at the girls sudden movement and ran towards the front door "really?" Demi said to the animal "just as I'm about to go to bed?" She raised her eyebrow at the ball of fur unimpressed.

The dog simply whined in response. Demi groaned, rolling her eyes and with a swift movement she got off the couch, heading down the hallway and towards the front door to let the dog out.

Just as her shaky hand went to the handle a light knock was placed on the other side of the wood. Demi frowned and then became worried. She'd seen enough horror movies to know not to answer the door at midnight, especially when she was home alone.

Another knock was then placed against the oak and she stepped forward. Taking a deep breath she looked into the peep hole, heart pounding. She didn't know what to expect. Her thoughts ran to the movie 'The Purge' and she half expected to see a group of people with masks and guns.. And then her thoughts began to fill with creepy clowns.. But what she saw was far from anything swirling in her mind.

Stood at the other side of the door was a young girl of about 15. Demi laughed to herself before wiping her eyes... She always thought of the worst case scenario.

So she opened the door and the young girls brown eyes stared up at her in shock and confusion..

"Hey,Can I help you?" She said cautiously

"Oh shit" the young girl quickly glanced to a piece of paper in her hands, her brows furrowing in confusion, as her short brown curls fell into her face "I'm so sorry Ms. I-I must have the wrong h-house" she stuttered. Her cheeks went bright red and she quickly turned around.

Demi was confused but stood out on to the porch before the girl could get away "No sweetie wait" she called "who are you looking for maybe I can help?" She offered politely seeing as the girl looked quite distressed
