Chapter 10. The Call

Lauren awoke to a bright light. She slowly opened her eyes to see the sun beaming through the large window. It took her a second to realise where she was but it hit her that she was at Ashley's house with dayna.

She rolled over expecting to find Dayna but the girl wasn't there.. She then began to get flashbacks of the night before.

She traced her lips remembering the soft touch of Daynas kiss. She smiled widely and felt butterflies in her stomach.

She sat up and grew confused. She was sure she'd fallen asleep with Dayna.

She climbed out of bed a headache immediately hitting her and her mouth was so dry she thought it would fall off. She needed a drink

She noticed she was only in her t-shirts and panties and quickly found her jeans, throwing them on. She chuckled to herself remembering the battle she had to have with Dayna to take off her jeans.

After making her appearance okay, she left the room wandering down a hall. She could hear voices so she followed them.

Arriving into the kitchen she was surprised to see Dayna and Ashley sitting on the counter top eating cereal. She was even more surprised to see that Dayna was literally in lace pamties and a T-shirt. She never put on pants this morning and Lauren wasn't gonna lie,she admired the view.

"Hey Lo" Dayna hopped off the counter placing her bowl down "you're awake great" she smiled.

Dayna saw her grumpy mood and chuckled "coffee?" The younger girl questioned and that gained a smile from Lauren.

Lauren sat on one of the islands stools and rubbed her eyes aggressively. Dayna who was at the other side of the island smiled admiringly at the cute site.

"Here you go" Dayna chuckled walking to her and placing the cup down. She moved behind Lauren gently caressing her back before going to get her some advil for the headache she assumed the girl had "take these" she smiled gently.

"Thanks Day" Lauren managed to croak out with a smile.

"It's okay" she smiled sitting beside her.

"Demi said she'll be here at 8" Dayna informed the green eyed girl as she finished her cereal "We need to get ready soon"

"Okay" she nodded drinking her coffee with the advil.

After relaxing a bit Lauren leaned into Daynas side and closed her eyes. Dayna softly smiled wrapping her arm around her as Ashley went to the back garden door to let her dog out.

"You're tired" Dayna mumbled gently stroking Lauren's.

Lauren nodded nuzzling her nose into Daynas neck. The brunette was happy Lauren was keeping her word from last night.

"When we get to mine, you can have a shower and then we'll sleep in the car okay?"

"Okay" Lauren smiled looking at Dayna and just like that she leaned in placing a small kiss to her lips. Dayna pulled away placing another kiss to Laurens forehead.

Halsey arrived back and they got into a general conversation and while that was happening Dayna got a text from Demi saying she needed Halsey's address.

She gave it to her and Lauren and Dayna finished up their breakfast to get dressed.

Once ready they sat outside on the porch with Ashley,Chink and their friend Polo.

It wasn't long until Demi and Marissa arrived together in a silver convertible.

"Shit.." Halsey looked at Demi in shock. She knew they were cousins and she knew she was on her way but it still surprised her.
