One Month Later~~~

Ryan and I had been seeing each other for about a month now.  There was never a point where he asked me if I wanted to be his girlfriend, we kind of just took on the roles of boyfriend and girlfriend since things were going so well.  We really knew when Brendon asked us one day if we were dating and Ryan just replied with a 'yeah'.  I liked how things weren't awkward between us at all, he was really easy to get along with. And really cute.  We were still keeping it on the down low at school though.  We didn't hold hands in the hallway or kiss between classes, but there was plenty of time outside of school for those things.  Nora and I were sitting in the back of Ryan's car while him and Brendon were in the store getting some snacks one Friday evening.

"So have you guys had sex yet?" Nora asked.

"No!" I said, my face turning hot.

"What! Why not? Do you love him?"

"Yeah I love him, but i'm saving myself for marriage."

"June, you know I respect you and want what's best, but come on. There is no saving yourself.  Ryan didn't save himself!  Virginity is just some concept that men use against women to try and make us feel bad for participating in the same acts that they get praised upon." She said.  I shrugged because the boys were coming back to the car.

"You guys ready for the drive in?" Brendon said turning around to look at us.

"Hell yeah!" Nora said.  We had to drive a little bit into the desert to find a drive in theater away from the city lights.  We hid all of our snacks under blankets by our feet because technically we weren't supposed to bring it in.  Ryan parked his car and switched the radio channels so that we could hear what would be going on during the screening.

"Okay am I hopping back there, or are you coming up here?" Ryan said turning to look at me.

"I'll come up there." I said to him with a smirk.  Brendon and I switched spots so he could sit by Nora.  He still hasn't asked her out.  Ryan leaned over and kissed me, we both smiled at each other.

"Gross!" Brendon said from the backseat.  Ryan flipped him off as Nora and I giggled.  The movie started and everyone started to quiet down except for the sounds of our snacking.  I looked in rear view mirror to see Brendon keep glancing at Nora, who was slowly moving closer to him.  I pulled out  my phone and texted Nora.

"I have to use the bathroom, Ryan can you come with and wait outside the door?" I asked.

"Yeah, sure." He said.  We both got out of the car and walked over to the bathrooms.  I wasn't lying when I said I had to go, so I went and came back out to see Ryan standing there, kicking some dirt.  He looked up at me and smiled again.

"So I really have to comb my hair for your brother's wedding tomorrow?" He asked wrapping his arms around my waist.

"Yes, my whole family will be there."

"Fine i'll do it, but just because I love you."

"I love you too." I said and we kissed again.  He took my hand and we started walking back to the car.

"Ryan, hold on." I said putting my arm out in front of him to stop him.  I looked in the car to see Brendon on his back with Nora on top of him, both of them kissing each other wildly.

"Finally." Ryan said looking in.  We sat in the sand/dirt in front of the car and watched the movie with our arms around each other.  We couldn't hear anything, but we didn't care.
