One of the struggles of publishing is, well, PUBLISHING!!
There's the struggle of finding the RIGHT publisher. And also the complications of money and marketing. Especially when you're only a kid.
But one of my problems is that I can't decide between self or traditional publishing.
Self:
-I can do it myself
-Quicker
-Bit less complicated
-How do covers and stuff even work?
-I feel as if they're won't be as well known as traditionally published books
Traditional:
-I feel as if they're more well known than self published books
-Publishing company helps
-But I'd have to find an agent. How do I even do that? They probably won't even take me seriously because people have an annoying tendency to judge people by their age
-I'd have to write a query letter. I don't know the key components and what makes a good query letter! And again, will they even take me seriously?
-I'd probably have to wait until I'm older to publish it
If anyone knows of, like, teenagers who've traditionally published, comment them to boost my confidence in traditional publishing.
