Chapter 1

Kay's POV

"Come on girl show me some skin"
"Gimme some sugar baby"
"Stop being such a prude"

These are just a few of the things the boys at my school tell me. I'm just trying to live a normal life, I do cheerleading, get good grades, and I'm not even dating anyone. But all the boys love me just for my looks. You might think it would be great to be loved my all these boys, but trust me, it's like torture.

There's this new girl that everyone hates, her name is Alex and she's very pretty. Everyone bully's her for her clothing style, and her taste in music. I may be the captain of the cheerleaders, but I don't bully anyone. I try to stop them, but they won't listen. It's mostly the jocks that pick on her, they act like the typical jocks that you see in movies. They push everyone out of their way, bully innocent people, and catcall every pretty girl they see.

I've only ever dated one guy, his name was josh. He was sweet, he would get me flowers, take me on dates, and cuddle up with me. But one day something changed him. He started to yell at me for no reason, he would break things, he even tried to hit me once but I dodged it. When I tried to ask what was wrong he would just tell me to fuck off. So I ended it and I have no clue what happened to him, if he got better, or what. I'm just glad I'm out of there.

It's the fourth week of school and the bullying has gotten worse for Alex. Josh has started to yell at her like when he yelled at me. I feel really bad, I don't know how to stop them. I told the principal but of course that just made it worse. This is actually the first time I've seen josh since the breakup 5 months ago. I might have been avoiding him, but when he started picking on Alex, I got pissed.

My best friend sage doesn't know Alex, he hasn't seen her at all but he feels bad that she's getting bullied. sage is a good guy, he has a sense of humor, he's cute, and he helps me through hard times. He did ask me out one time but I said no, I like being a single Pringle.
