Chapter 15

Alex's POV (I know I already did her POV, but I'm doing it again.)

"Are you okay Alex?" Eddie asks seriously.

"Yeah I'm fine, he didn't touch me. He would've if you didn't get here though, so thanks I guess." Im not very good at thanking people.

Eddie just smiles, which I know means 'no problem'. We hug again and we both go back to class.

"See ya at lunch" Eddie says while walking away.

When I walk into the classroom, I immediately notice Josh being huddled around by the other jocks. I just laugh and walk over to my seat. I notice one of the jocks mouth 'fuck you' to me. I smile and wave, which makes him angrier.

All of homeroom I just read my book "I'll Give You the Sun". I wasn't bothered by the jocks at all. I don't think I will be for a while.

When the bell rang I got up and was tripped by josh.

"I don't think you want to mess with me anymore Josh. I'll get Eddie on your ass." I say with confidence in my voice.

Josh just sticks his tongue out at me. He's so immature. I don't even know why he bully's me, or anyone. I think he used to date Kay, which makes me hate him even more. Maybe he used to be a good guy. Kay would never date an asshole like him.

I walk to my next class, I don't see josh in the hall. I don't have any friends in my reading class, so this should be fun.

My reading teacher is a really old guy. He's nice, I guess. He always wears a button up shirt and a tie. Since I'm a pretty big stereotypical lesbian, I wear flannels and button up shirts a lot too. Im waiting for the day that me and him have a matching shirt on.

Nothing really happened in reading, we took a test that I'm pretty sure I failed. I didn't study and the whole time I was just thinking about Kay.

I hope she's alright, I can't stand the thought of her getting hurt. I don't know exactly why or how she got in the hospital, but she had to have gotten hurt to be in there. Her foot was in a cast so I assume she broke her foot, or ankle. Im just glad she's not seriously hurt.

It's now lunch and since Kay isn't here, I sit with Eddie and Gabe. Im sure that when Kay's back, she'll let them sit with her.

"So, where's your new lady friend at" Gabe asks while smirking.

"She couldn't make it today. She's in the hospital."

We were called up to go get our food. I have to buy lunch today because I didn't have a way of packing it, since I was in the hospital.

"Alex, Gabe, I have to tell you something. I've been keeping it a secret for a while, and I feel like it's time to tell you guys. Alex please don't get pissed at me. For about... three months now, I've been dating Samantha. I kn-"

"What the fuck Eddie? You know I hate that bitch. Im not telling you who you can and can not date, but you can't date her. She's insane. She almost raped someone, I had to pull her off of him." I whispered the last part, not wanting anyone else to hear.

"Yes I know. She's knows she did wrong, and she apologized. She's really a great girl if you get to know her."

"I did get to know her, we were best friends for a year. I got to know that she's fucking insane." Anger obvious in my voice.

We were sat down at the table by this point. We got a few glances here and there, but I don't care.

"I'm gonna have to take Alex's side on this one. I didn't know her well, but I could tell something was up with her." Gabe pitches into the conversation.

"Listen, I don't care what you say, I'm going to date her no matter what. I will stick by her side. I'm still going to be your guys' friend, but I love her. There's nothing you can do about that."
