A week passed and I liked the quarry way better than the woods. I could finally sleep peacefully because of the fact that there were more people. There's always strength in numbers! I agree with her, though Daryl still won't let his guard down and now he's even more closed off then before. He hardly sleeps and has developed horrible bags. He's still hot but everyone needs there beauty sleep, even Merle. Especially Merle!

Everything else is relatively okay except that all three of us share one tent and I hate it. Merle snores like a fucking pig and the constant sniffling from his crack sessions are killing me. I always beg Daryl to kick him out and make him sleep in his own tent but Daryl doesn't do it. He won't stand up to his brother and that means no sex for me. And no sex means an angry, irritable Amber.

I woke up today feeling way better seeing the boys went hunting and I got to sleep in. Well, I sleep in all the time but this time, I got the cot to myself. I sighed sadly as I stood up. How did I go from five star penthouse with a king sized bed to a tent and fucking cot? I went to my bag and pulled out a clean baby blue dress. I put white flats on and pulled my hair up into a cute bun; leaving a few strands of hair in the front to frame my face.

My nails were begining to chips, so I'd have to paint them. Maybe I'll ask Glenn to get me some on his next run into the city. It couldn't hurt! Plus I knew he'd do it. He's the one that got me some razors, along with other women supplies. The girls only took the mentsrual supplies and thought that the razors, body mist and body lotion were unnecessary but all of the men kept staring at my legs and smelling me as I walked by. Daryl got angry but even he couldn't deny that I looked and smelled devine even during an apocalypse.

Glenn didn't mind getting them for me and that's why he's my favorite out of the group, including Carol, Amy and Dale. The others don't like me because I don't do work. But I don't care. I walked out of the tent and guessed it to be around twelve O'clock in the afternoon. I walked up to the RV and sat down next to Dale.

 "Hey Dale! Where is everybody?"

Dale smiled at me from under his silly hat. "Hello Amber, Glenn went out on a run and some of the guys are with the girls down by the lake. Today's laundry day," he informed and I nodded, uninterested. "Maybe you should go help them," he suggested and I shook my head. "Why?" He wasn't angry, just confused.

"I don't know how to do that stuff. It screams bad idea. Plus, I'm a spoiled rich girl who never worked a day in her life. I'll probably mess up and ruin the clothes," I said truthfully and he looked sympathetic. Plus, you're lazy! Shutup!

"It doesn't hurt to try," he encouraged with a smile and I sighed.

"Somehow I can't say no to you, Dale." He chuckled and I jumped up."Alright, I'll try." I turned around and went into my tent to get our clothes. Merle's load was the biggest but I managed to stick them all into one bag. "Wish me luck!" I yelled cheerfully and Dale shot me a friendly smile.

Minutes later, I made it to the lake. I felt very accomplished with myself for not turning around because the load was too heavy. I wanted to surprise Daryl with clean clothes. I wanted to prove that I wasn't useless. I needed this. Taking a deep breath, I went over by the girls.

"Hi!" I smiled at them and they all returned it except for Andrea. I chose to ignore it seeing as the rest were all pleseantly surprised. "Can I wash clothes with you guys?"

Amy beamed a smile and Jacqui chuckled. "Of course you can, sweetie."

I nodded and cleared my throat. "T-thank you." See I did it! Proud of you! I sat down and took out one of Merle's shirts. I held it in my hand with a lost expression. "Now what?"
