Sugarpelt's Forest Adventure: Book 1

CHAPTER 7: WE BECOME WARRIORS!

It's sunhigh, the sunlit room was warm and cozy. I look around, Silverpaw is dead asleep and Cloudpaw is sleeping right next to him. I had just remembered that we were becoming warriors today. I wonder what my warrior name will be, I've been thinking about it and I was hopping that my name will be "Sugarpelt".

I got tiered of just staring at Silverpaw and Cloudpaw just sleep there. I try to wake her up, she claws at me. I try to wake Silverpaw up but I hear him mumble something. "Sugarpaw will you go out with me?" I heard him mumble.

I wake him up, "what were you dreaming about?" I said. "Nothing!" Silverpaw blushed and couldn't meet my gaze. "Goodmorning!" Cloudpaw yawned. Clodpaw earned a few stares in her loud ways. I wondered why she was so happy.

I walked outside and sat in the shining and warm sun. My pelt shimmered gold in the gleaming sun (I'm a white cat with brown socks/paws). I looked around the camp, Sunpelt looked strait at me like he wanted to tell me something. I padded towards him. "Is there something you wanted to tell me?" I asked. Sunpelt shook his head no.

I pad back over to Cloudpaw and Silverpaw. "Uh.. hi." Silverpaw mewed quietly. "Dude don't be scared to talk to me." I licked him between his ears in a friendly way. Silverpaw laughed, "Sorry, you're just kind of cute and all so...yeah."Silverpaw blurted out. "What did you say?" I wasn't paying any attention to what he was saying. Cloudpaw glared at me. I wondered why.

We padded off outside to start our training with Sunpelt. "Are you two ready for training?" Sunpelt mewed. "Yes!"I said excitedly.

"Start with attacking."Sunpelt mewed. I swung at Silverpaw's paws, he fell on the ground. He bounded towards me, he then clawed at my face, but I dodged his attack. I jumped on his back, he tried to shake me off, except when he did I left a scratch on his back. I bound towards him, he swings at my paws then jumps on my back. He scratched my back. I yowled in pain. My back and shoulders were bleeding. "Okay you two that's enough training for today." Sunpelt said.

"Whoa what happed to you?!" Cloudpaw mewed. "We attacked each other for training." I bounded towards Stormfur's den. "OUCH!" I yowlded as Stormfur put blackberry leaves and cobwebs on my wound.

"Clan meeting!"Gracestar yowled. "Today we will be watching our apprentices become wariors. Sugarpaw please step forward. You will no longer be named Sugarpaw, but you will now be named Sugarpelt!" Gracestar mewed as the clan cheered my name. "Silverpaw, please step foward. You will no longer be named Silverpaw, your new clan name will be Silverclaw." Gracestar said proudly as the clan cheerd Silverclaw. "Last but certianly not least, Cloudpaw your new clan name will be Cloudfur!" Gracestar mewed.

We all padded to the warrior's den. I forgot that Ashfire was a warrior. "Ugh... your a warrior." Ashfire said. "Yes, I am." I mewed. "I don't want to have yo share a den with these three." Ashfire yowled. We made our selfs at home. Silverclaw chose a spot next to me, and Cloudfur chose a spot next to Silverclaw. "You can't sleep here." Ashfire mewed. "Why not." I protested. "Because that spot is for Runningwind(a white calico with black socks/paws, she has a large "v" shaped cut in her ear)." Ashfire said sternly. I walked over to where Cloudfur and Silverclaw were sleeping.
