Forest Boy

Chapter 2

Shane's pov

I was on a beautiful beach and the sun had just set and the moon was high in the sky. The ocean water shimmered and i was sitting in the sand. The cool waves touched my feet and i felt a hand grab mine. I turned my head and saw joey smiling his beautiful smile. I smiled back and we shared a little kiss.

Suddenly a man grabbed him and he was kicking and crying trying to get away.

Joey: Shane...save me.

Shane: It's ok joey i'm coming.

I ran after him but suddenly the world was black. I started falling and suddenly.

*Thud*

I squinted my eyes and opened them completley to see nothing but a bright blue. I realized that i was on the ground laying on my carpet. I had fallen off the bed onto the floor what the hell?

My phone alarm was blaring and that indicated it was time to get up. I reached my arm up and i felt around the table until i touched my phone. I pulled it down to my face and i swiped it turning it off.

Shane: Ugh fuck my life.

I stood up and my back cracked making me cringe. I stretched and shook my head waking myself up entirely. I walked over to joey's room and i sat on the other side of the bed. His lips were slightly parted and he had little snores.

After i found him i made him cut his hair because it was shaggy and long. Now his hair was spiked upwards but it was pressed against his forehead because of sleep.

I slowly stroked his face cooing soft words for him to wake up.

Joey's pov

I was running through the tree branches just having a fun time. I was playing with bugs, hopping with birds it was just amazing. I saw shane on a far branch and i smiled running towards him. He smiled and held his arms out making me giggle as i jumped faster.

I leaped into his arms and he rocked me as i giggled. But suddenly he let me go and glared walking away from me.

Joey: Shane...wait f-for joey.

I walked with him but he just sped up and i was having trouble.

Shane: GO AWAY!!!

Joey: Sh-shane WAIT!!!

He vanished and i cried pressing my head against a tree. My body began shaking and suddenly.

I shot up breathing heavily and i looked around the room. Shane looked at me shocked and i slid away from him. I crossed my arms and he looked confused.

Shane: What's wrong joey.

Joey: Y-you leave j-joey.

Shane: What? No i would never do that. Joey that was a dream, it wasn't real.

Joey: Really?

Shane: Yes really now come here and hug me.

I smiled and hopped over to him as he embraced me tightly. I smiled and he placed his lips on mine. I think it's called a...kiss? I can't remember what it's called but i like it.

Shane: You ready for school?

Joey: If s-shane is...joey is.

He giggled and we both got up.

Shane's pov

I went to joey's closet and i pulled out a blue button up and black jeans for him. I pulled out his little gold and black tennisshoes that he just had to have and he smiled.

Shane: I'm gonna go get dressed ok?

Joey: Ok.

I walked to my room and i went through my closet. I just chose a plain white T-shirt with a black leather jacket. I pulled on blue jeans and my boot type shoes. I tied the laces and joey walked into my room looking beyond adorable. I helped him to style and gel his hair and i placed a pair of nerd glasses on his face. He loved these glasses so much the day we bought them. He didn't take them off for a week.

I grabbed his backpack and he followed me down the stairs as i set our bags by the front door.

Mom: Ooh don't you two look handsome.

Joey blushed and i let out a laugh as i hugged him. We sat down at the table and i started eating my omlet. Joey ate a bite or two and he looked sad.

Shane: Joey are you alright?

Joey: I sc-scared.

Shane: Aww joey it's alright there's nothing to be scared of.

I kissed his forehead and he gave me a big toothy grin which made me smile back. He started to eat and we finished our breakfast rather quickly. And joey ran to the kitchen grabbing a bowl and cereal. He poured the cereal and milk and he smiled.

I raised an eyebrow and smirked.

Shane: Joey what are you doing?

He dunked his face in the bowl and he made growling noises as he quickly downed his cereal. I sighed and shook my head at the mess he was making.

Shane: Joey stop it right now.

He stood up and backed away looking down at his shoes. I gave a side smile and i walked over to him and i made him look up at me.

Shane: Joey you know you're not supossed to do that.

Joey: Yea...i know.

Shane: I'm not mad but don't do it again alright?

Joey: Alright.

I looked at the clock and i saw that it was time to leave. I quickly wiped joey's face off and we rushed to the door grabbing our bags.

Mom: Bye boys.

Shane: Bye mom.

We ran outside and towards the bus stop. First day and i'm already running late, awesome.
