Kaitlynn's POV
"Kaitwynn!" My little sister, Elli, cheered as I walked through the door.
Elli was just about the cutest 2 year old you could ever meet. She had jet black hair, baby blue eyes, and pale skin
You would never guess we were sisters because we were opposites. I have bleach-blonde hair, emerald green eyes, and tanned skin.
"Hey Elli!" I smiled and wrapped her in a hug.
"Her name is Eleanor! Call her by her name because anything less than that is very unprofessional." My mother criticized.
"Sorry mother. I have to get ready for work. My shift is 4pm-11pm tonight." I told my mother.
"If it is written on the schedule you don't have to tell me. That looks unprofessional." My mother sighed as she walked out of the kitchen.
The thing about my mother is that she wants us to be a picture perfect family. We should be proper and have the nicest things because in her eyes, that's what a family is.
I began getting ready for work. I was fixing my ponytail I was required to wear when Elli walked in.
"Mommy says you babysit me at night. She budsy" Elli said using her toddler language.
I walked down the hall to my moms room and knocked softly.
"Enter." She demanded.
"Eleanor said I'm babysitting tonight?" I questioned.
"Yes. I have a dinner to attend, therefore Eleanor is your responsibility." She told me.
"This is why we have the schedule, mother. I would've requested to be off if you had thought to let anyone else know!" I boomed.
"Don't worry, though. Elli can come to work with me." I said as I slammed the door.
"At least I hope she can.." I mumbled as I picked up my little sister and headed out the door.
