Shay's POV

I laid in a hospital bed in an unknown place. The walls were so white it made my eyes burn and there was a small window on the wall opposite of my bed.

Being a white wolf meant I could connect with my wolf better. I can shift with my clothes on and not tear them, my wolf abilities can used even when I'm in human form, and my fighting skills are unbeatable. My wolf has a high intelligence level and acts off of instinct and knowledge rather than fear when faced with a tough situation. So pretty much everything was better with a white wolf.

"Luna." a woman dressed in a white lab coat greeted me as she entered.

I furrowed my eyebrows as I looked at her.

"What?" my voice came out weaker than I had planned. My throat was dry and scratchy.

She furrowed her eyebrows at me, seemingly just as confused as I was.

"Why did you call me that?"

"You're the alpha's mate." she stuttered.

"I'm at the pack house?," I paused trying to procces the newly found information,"How?"

"Alpha Chase and Beta Nate rescued you after they decoded the note you sent by the children." she explained.

"I don't remember any of that. What happened to me?"

"Well I ran multiple blood tests and the only thing I found was wolfsbane. It's commonly used as a poison at high dosages or a drug when diluted, but in your case it seems that it's been equally added into your system like how a normal person would take medication." she paused flipping through her papers, " I really don't understand but hopefully with a few more tests we'll figure it out. I've been give you IV flushes to hopefully get it out of your system. You should be out in a few days." she nodded before walking out the door.

I didn't know how or when Will ever had the chance to slip something as strong as wolfsbane into my system but I was determined to find out.

~Three days later~

Nate and I decided after I was able to leave the hospital we were going on the longest run of our lives, and then I would return to training. Training and running were my favorite things to do when I was with Will. It was the easiest way to get away from everyone when I needed to.

"You're favorite beta is here!" Nate announced walking into the room.

I rolled my eyes a smile spreading across my face.

"You ready cupcake?"

"Most definitely ready to leave your ass in the dust." I scoffed.

"Ohh cocky." He tsked.

The nurse quietly shuffled in to remove my IV's.

I walked as calmly as I could considering I hadn't ran in over a week. My wolf was jittery and on high alert. I wasn't used to being in the pack house yet.

"Ew. It is back." a girl sneered.

I scrunched my face up in an attempt to remember my she relevant to my life.

"Who's that?" I turned to Nate a look of disgust on my face.

"Well umm," he paused awkwardly, "that's this girl."

"I see that."

"She she well she slept with that guy while your were gone." He nodded as if he were telling himself this.

"What guy?" I glared.

"Chase." he mumbled quickly.

I turned my head to look at the girl, she was still glaring at me. She looked as if she was planning my death but what she didn't know was I already had hers planned.
