(Armin's POV )
I sat in class with my earbuds in, listening to Breaking Benjamin's "The Diary of Jane". I kept my eyes glued to the door, waiting for lunch.
As I watched, I saw Asaki walk past the classroom, as if she was dragging someone. I stood up slightly, the only thing I was able to see was a pair of black cat ears.
Black cat ears.....
CAT!!
I stood up, stumbling as I tried to get out of the classroom. Luckily, this wasn't too out of the ordinary, so nobody really cared.
I dashed out of the classroom, running after Cat. I caught a good look at her before Asaki dragged her out of the building. The scar below her eye had been re-opened, and was bleeding down her cheek. Flames almost seemed to be coming.... out of her.... hands.... I guess...
I ran after them, only to find a hand grab me and pull me back.
"Don't." I looked back to see Mikasa standing above me. "This is a battle between demons. We must only watch from afar." We walked outside, giving Cat and Asaki their distance.
Cat and Asaki stood facing each other in the courtyard in front of the school. Asaki had sprouted large black angel wings, leaving Cat at a disadvantage.
"Hey Cat, wait up!" Koga leaped out one of the windows, transforming into her weapon form, a katana. Cat caught her with ease.
"Ready?" Koga asked.
"Absolutely." Cat smirked, glaring at Asaki.
Cat dashed forward, only to be thrown aside like a ragdoll. I wanted to intervene, but dark purple chains appeared around my wrists, preventing me from doing so.
"Oh, right. I have an apprentice now." Asaki chuckled darkly.
"Felicity...."
A pair of black and white angel wings opened behind me, and the one connected to them was.... Felicity..... Cat's sister....
I looked back at Cat, who stood in shock and terror. I tried to pull away, but the chains held me back.
"Cat, it'll be okay! You've just got to fight!" I called over to her, diverting her attention from Felicity to me them the chains and back to Felicity. Her eyes darkened, a look of total hatred. One I didn't think she was capable of doing. Especially not to Felicity.
Cat lunged towards Asaki. She aimed Koga at her, piercing through Asaki's neck.
Asaki hung lifeless on Koga's blade. Her body turned to black, and exploded, a purple floating orb in it's place.
Cat turned to face Felicity. I looked at Cat's bleeding scar. Blood had dripped down onto her MCR tee shit. Once she noticed it, she wouldn't be happy.
"Let them go." Cat's voice, dark and hostile, called over to Felicity, who just laughed in response.
"Now, why would I do that?" Felicity asked.
"Because you're better than this!" Cat lunged forward, aiming for Felicity. She was grabbed by the neck, choked for a second, and thrown to the ground.
"Cat!!" I screamed, trying to get out of the chains. Pulling like this had rubbed them raw, and I was bleeding from both wrists, but that didn't matter to me. What did was Cat.
Cat stood up, trembling in pain. She gripped Koga tightly.
"Do it." Koga said solemnly as she prepared to watch her best friend slaughter a friend.
"Koga..... Soul resonance." Cat said calmly. I watched in awe as Koga's blade started glowing bright green. 20 or so miniature duplicates appeared of the blade, with a shadow-like handle.
"21 Gun Shadow Moses." Cat muttered. The mini blades darted towards Felicity, each one stabbing her in a vital place. A slow, painful death as each blade slowly dug deeper into her body. I looked down and away from the bloody scene.
Granted, I couldn't help but get another peek. Felicity's body did the same thing Asaki's did. Turned to black, exploded, and only a purple orb was left.
Koga transformed out of weapon form. She grabbed both of the purple orbs, swallowing both with ease.
Once Koga did so, the chains disappeared. I hissed in pain as air hit my wrists. I looked over at Cat, who had collapsed on the ground.
"Cat!" I ran over to her. I pulled her close, resting her head on my lap.
"W-w-will s-she be o-okay....?" I asked, scared.
"Yeah. She just overworked herself." Koga sighed.
I hugged Cat, scared that with this life she was leading, I'd lose her one day, before we could even start a family.
'Don't worry Cat, I'll keep you safe....' I thought as I stroked her hair. 'I promise I will....'
I started softly singing "21 Guns" by Green Day to her. I brushed her bangs out of her face. Tears started forming in the corners of my eyes, afraid that I was slowly losing her.
"Please Cat...." I whispered to her. "Please wake up sweetie...."
"A-Armin.....I-I'm okay...." I heard her whisper back. I ran my hand gently over the side of her face, her smooth skin covered with blood and scrapes.
"Thank god...." I sighed, relieved.
"I'm so glad you're still here...."
