Old Scars/Future Hearts (Multi-Anime FanFic)

Cat Holton and Armin Arlert:

(Armin's POV)

It was the last day of school. I sat in my final period, eyes glued to the clook, counting down the seconds. I was planning a surprise for Cat.

"Hey Armin." Sasha whispered, snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Hey. What's up?" I whispered back.

"You're blushing like crazy. You're thinking about Cat, aren't you?" She giggled.

"Maybe." I responded.

The final bell of the year rang. I grabbed my binder and ran out of the classroom before the teacher could even properly dismiss us.

I grabbed my backpack, and shoved my stuff in it. I shut my locker door and walked over to Cat's locker, trying to play it cool and not like I was planning something.

"Hey Armin." Cat smiled.

"Hey sweetie." I kissed her cheek.

"So, you two got any plans?" Izzy asked, shutting her locker next to Cat's.

"No." Cat answered.

"Actually... I do." I blushed. Cat looked at me confused.

"You'll just have to wait and see." I smiled.

"Cool. Have fun you two! Want me to take your stuff home?" Izzy extended her arm, and we draped our bags on it.

"Thanks." I grabbed Cat's hand. "Ready?"

"Course! See ya later Izzy!" Cat exclaimed before we walked off.

"So, where are we going?" Cat asked as we walked hand in hand out if school.

"Well, first we're just gonna walk around town for a little while. Then comes the surprise." I answered

"Should I be scared?" She giggled.

"No, don't worry." I chucked.

We made our way to the local mall, which was over crowded with students. We didn't have uniforms, surprisingly, so the only way we knew is if we recognized them or not.

We walked over to Hot Topic. The people there smiled at us and waved.

"Welcome back!" Katy, and American transfer student, greeted us. "We got a new shipment today!"

"Really? Cool!" Cat beamed.

Katy lead Cat over to the back wall and showed her some tee shirts. I walked around, looking at the Death Note, Pokemon, and Nirvana merch they had. Not really finding much, I walked over to Cat.

"Find anything?" I asked, kneeling down next to her.

"Yeah." She hugged a My Chemical Romance Black Parade skeleton tee.

"Ya want it?" I asked. She looked up at me.

"R-really?" She asked, a light blush dusting her cheeks.

"Of course!" I helped her stand, and we walked over to the counter.

"Ready guys?" Katy asked.

"Yep." I answered. Cat set the tee shirt on the counter. I grabbed out two buttons and set them upside down on the shirt so Cat couldn't see.

"Hm? What did you get?" Cat asked.

"Something for you." I answered; handing Katy my credit card after she rang everything up.

"Have a nice day!" Katy smiled. I handed Cat the bag, implying it was all hers.

"You too Kate!" Cat smiled back as we left.

"Where to now?" Cat asked. I shrugged.

"Anywhere you want. We've still got a couple hours." We walked around for a while, waiting till around nine.
