As days led up the party the gang got closer. The guys took a liking to the new company they were with. When they weren't in school they would usually just hang out at her's or Calum's house and order pizza and "do homework."
Calum's mother even took a liking to her. She was really polite to his mother and the respect was reciprocated. Calum couldn't help but turn red as he witnessed his mom and Abbi getting closer.
Currently, it was Friday night and they were all sitting on Calum's living room floor as they watched Michael and Abbi play FIFA.
"Fuck. Fuck. Fuck." Michael repeated as Barcelona (Abbi's team) stole the ball from him.
"Gotta move quicker than that, dickface." She retorted, zeroing in on the game as her tongue stuck out strategically from between her lips.
Michael pushed her with his foot after hearing the common nickname she had given him. Yet, even with the fumble of her remote she still managed to score the winning goal bringing the game to a close.
"Sorcery. It has to be some sort of sorcery." Michael mumbled.
As Michael faced off against Luke, Abbi wiggled her hips between Ashton and Calum who occupied the love seat. Calum's arm was casually thrust over the back of the chair. The heat between the contact of thigh on thigh and neck to arm was unbearable. Ever since the night, they hugged Calum found it even more impossible to get her out of his head. She invaded every thought he had. He only ever dreamed of reliving the moment for the rest of his life. A little dramatic for a simple hug but he's Calum after all.
She turned to him propping her head on her hand that was bent over the back of the chair. After a couple of seconds pretending to not notice the very attractive female staring at him she asks him what he's going to wear to the party.
"I dunno."
She sucks her teeth and makes a disapproving look.
"See well. That simply won't do."
"What do you have in mind?" He asks.
"Idk y'all Australians dress a lot differently compared to New Yorkers." She erupts into a fit of laughter.
He laughs. Her eyes flicker down to his lips and back to his eyes that mirror the color of hers. She finally feels the heat radiating off his body. She breathes in deeply. She turns the Ashton.
"Ashton." He turns the her
"Can you get me some ice cream please" She questions.
"I dunno you guys always asked me to do shit around here." He mutters but nonetheless he gets up to retrieve the carton in the freezer.
"Thanks, baby!" She hollers. Calum can't help but feel jealous.
"Yeah yeah yeah. Whatever." He shows up with a carton of cookies and creme ice cream marked with Abbi's initials indicating that it was only for her consumption and a spoon. He throws the spoon at her.
"You're such an ass." She rolls her eyes and chuckles playfully.
**************
A couple hours and a fuming Michael later, everyone decided it was time to go. The guys drove home and Calum brought it on himself to walk Abbi back home since it was a short distance."The guys really like you." Calum starts attempting to make conversation.
She laughs. "Yeah I can tell."
The silence returns.
"Are you excited for your first Aussie party?"
"Hell yeah, dude. I've been her for a couple weeks now and you guys seem pretty chill." Her excitement is radiating off her.
