Chapter 2

I woke up to find Seth on top of me. Sometime during the night he had found a way to get his arms wrapped around me without waking me up. Stupid spy thing. Gosh sometimes being a spy had its disadvantages.  

“Seth would you get off of me?” I groaned from underneath him.

He didn’t move. Ok… I tried to shove him off of me but that just made him get closer. Now what could make him get off of me? I got it.

I looked up to his model like face, trying to picture his newly brown eyes. Then I brought my head up right next to his and whispered in to his ear, “If you don’t get up I am going to have to kiss you.” As soon as the words came out of my mouth I regretted them. He snuggled closer to me. great now I am going to have to kiss him. Dang I was so stupid.  Ok well I told him I would and a spy never goes back on their word. I closed my eyes and moved up towards him. Just as I was about to back out he leaned into me and placed a quick kiss on my lips. His soft lips leaving a tingling feeling and making my heart skip a beat.

“Told you I would get it. Now was that so bad?” He said in a sing-song voice.

“Yes, Now if you would excuse me I think I am going to go barf.” I said faking a barf. There was no way I was going to let him know that I totally enjoyed that.

“Ok then but we need to hurry up and go to school wouldn’t want to be late for our first day of school now would we? Oh and don’t wear something to boyish wear something flattering but not slutty.” He said giving me a wink.

“Oh gosh Seth really why can’t I?” I whined. “I love guy clothes.”

“Cause if you are going to be my girl friend then you have to look somewhat presentable.”

“I just thought I am glad we started this before their summer ended. Now what are we going to do if someone asks us how long we have been going out? And what school we came from and how come we got to go to the same school and we already knew each other before school started?”

“Ok we have been going out for 3 months and we went to a privet school. That got closed down. We are neighbors until my house got burnt down and your parents let us move in to your house. How is that?” Seth replied.

“Ok but on slight problem we don’t have any parents…..” I said looking around the house.

“True I will have to call in about that.” He pulled out his phone and called up Agent Clark.

While  he was busy doing that I changed, put my earrings in, that could listen to any conversation from 3 football fields away but only if I wanted them to, and shoved my phone into my pocket. When I got out there were two adult males and two females standing in our living room.

“Amber this is Kelly and Christie. They are our “mothers”. This is Levi and Jonah. They are our “fathers”.”Seth said.

“Nice to meet you mom and dad.” I was not really ready to say that so the words we mumbled.

Kelly and Levi looked like me and Christie and Jonah looked like Seth.

“So I am guessing Kelly and Levi our ‘Mine’?” I asked.

“Yes darling we are.”

Oh great this is not going to be good. Crap I forgot my gun up stairs. “I will be right back. Seth come with me please?”

“What are you two going to do up stairs?” Kelly and Christie asked together.

“Nothing I just need help with something.” I called over my shoulder as Seth came up behind me.

“What do you need help with?” he asked eyeing me slowly.

“I need help hiding my gun.”

“Oh I would love to help you with that.” He said as his eyes widened looking me up and down.

“I figured. Plus I don’t really trust them. Hey quite poking me that hurts.”

“Sorry do you want me to kiss it and make it fell better?” He said giggling as he tried to shove the gun into my back pocket but then he changed his mind. Then he shoved it into my boot. Satisfied he backed up and examined. “I think that works. You have everything you need?”

I smiled. ‘Nope not everything I really wish you would kiss me again.’ I thought but didn’t dare say it out loud. But as I thought it he came over to me pulling me close to him. He tilted his head as if waiting for me to stop him. Yea right, there is no way I am going to stop this kid. His lips touched mine just as Kelly and Christie walked in. Great timing I know.

“Excuse me.” Kelly said after clearing her throat.

Seth pulled away, his face flushed with embarrassment. “Yes?”

“We just came up to check on you to the bus just left.” Christie said.

“Dang and we don’t even have a car.” I protested.

“Yes we do.” Seth laughed as he pulled me to the electric blue Camaro. A.K.A. My dream car!
