I stop right outside the doors to the library. I fix my hair in a hurry and calmly walk through the doors after taking a deep breath to collect myself. I smile at the librarian and walk through a couple of aisles filled with books, looking for where Kristoff might be. I'm supposed to be meeting him here to talk about something. He said that he had something to show me. After looking through all the fiction aisles, his favorite genre of books, I figure that he must be at our study spot. I mean.. We've become great partners for homework, so we meet up at least weekly, if not more often than that.
I walk to the center of the library, starting to feel a bit nervous, and see Kristoff sitting with his back to me. He must be reading a book or something, because he's continually fiddling with something in his hands. I take my normal seat to next to him and smile, "Hey there." I say cheerfully as he quickly puts away a small piece of paper that he was fumbling with.
"Oh! Hey, you're here!" He says nervously opening a book, as if he's trying to hide something... Hmm... He's not one to normally keep secrets...
"Why'd you want me to come?" I ask scooting my chair a bit closer so I can get a better look at what book he's reading... And maybe figure out what he's not quite telling me.
"Oh, well... You know how you're having some problems with grammar?" His voice is laced with nervousness. This is obviously just a cover...
"Yeah, grammar isn't my best subject..." I say a bit shyly. Wait what??Why am I acting so shy? Why do I feel so nervous right now? I just need to relax...
"Well, I found this book," Kristoff says sliding a book in front of me titled 'Grammar Made Simple'. "I think it should help."
I smile and place my hand on the cover of the book, "Thank you! I anything can help with my writing grammar." I start looking through the pages, not really reading but just turning the pages. "What's this?" I say stopping on page 35, seeing a piece of paper. It's a small, folded piece of notebook paper, and I grab it. I turn it over, revealing my name written simply in pencil. My heart begins to race, as I try to unfold the note as calmly as possible. After unfolding the quarter folded piece of paper, I reveal a familiar handwriting which says- 'Anna, You are my sunshine, my only sunshine. You make me happy when skies are grey. You'll never know dear, how much I love you. Please don't take my sunshine away. You don't know how much I love you, but I I just hope that you feel the same way..' I nearly jump out of my seat and turn to face Kristoff, but he's not there...
I stand up and look around, I look down at where he was sitting to find another note. I quickly snatch it in my hands and quickly read the few written words- 'Yes? Then you know where I've gone, and meet me there. No? Stay here.'
