For a fear that I wouldn't remember...
I think it was more that I was scared
I would never forget.But as a snake sheds
its exoskeleton, never to return
I have been distanced from
a past, infinitely.It's time to let go
It's time to rid myself
of long dead spiders
and people who meant the stars to me.I'm ready to rid
myself of grudges
against legumes and
torchbearers...Let them go, bluebird.
