Chapter 12

I finally went back home, after 2 weeks. I haven't spoke a word to Bella, nor have I even looked at her. I never would, not again. I spend most of my time at Sam and Emily's, or with Paul, or at Jared's. Me and dad go to the diner sometimes, we talk like we used to, and not have to worry about drama. Tonight, was prom. Of course I was going to go. I went back to school last week. I was going by myself. I had on a black, smokey gray, and white faded short silk dress on, with black strapped high heels. I curled my blonde hair and put on makeup. And can I say, I look hot! Paul also bought me a small bottle of vodka to get drunk on in the parking lot.

I put it in my purse. Bella still doesn't know what I am. She's pretty dumb to not know yet. I walked downstairs and dad smiled. "You look beautiful hunny." He said. I smiled back and kissed his cheek. "Thanks dad." I say. "I gotta go before......you know who and you know who show up and come downstairs." I say. He nods and I walk out of the house and walk to my car. I then smelt him. "Leave me the hell alone Edward." I say. I could feel his coldness radiating. "Leave me alone. I don't like you. Not one bit. You didn't protect her like you promised. Leave me alone and go to her now." I said, raisin my voice slightly. I couldn't feel him anymore. I got in my car and drove to that damned school.

As I park at the school, I sit on the hood of my car and start drinking my bottle of vodka. "Hey! Easy there!" I heard Jacob say. I swallowed my drink and looked up to see him in a tux. Damn!!! Hot mama!! "Hi Jacob." I say. He smiled. "You here for Bella?" I ask him, taking another swig. He shrugs. "Maybe I'm here for another girl." He suggests. I look around. "Well, if your looking for her, she should be over there." I say and point to a girl by the doors. He chuckles. "No. Not that girl. You." He said. I blushed. "I don't see why. Who put you up to this?" I ask him. He looked confused. "No one. Bella was telling me, you went back to school last week, and that you were going to be here. So, I decided, ehh, why not. It's worth a shot." He said and say by me. He took the bottle and took a swig. He handed it back to me. A song came on. He hopped off and held his hand out. "Meagan Swan. Would you do me the honor of dancing with me?" He asked me. I smiled and blushed. I nodded and took his hand. He pulled me off and I landed in his arms. I squealed. I can tell his phasing would be real soon. I could feel the heat coming from him.

I felt something, I thought I wouldn't feel in a long time. The sparks. When he phases. I'll tell him. I decided. We started to dance. "Your a pretty good dancer Jake." I teased. He smiled. "Maybe it's because your not like Bella who has two left feet. You make me food." He whispered as we stopped dancing. He looked me right in the eyes. He pulled me closer to him, and began to lean down. I leaned up, and met him half way. We were kissing, and I heard Paul and Jared in the bushes. I flipped them off. Me and Jacob pulled apart. I glanced at the boys and they were making kissy faces at me. "Suck my dick." I whispered as low as I could to the boys. I heard them snickering as the walked home to Sam and Emily. "Meagan." Bella said, almost in a gasp. I groan into Jacob's collar. "I need to leave." I tell myself, but Jacob heard me. "Come on. I'll take you back to my house." He says, not wanting to be around Edward, I assume.

He gets in the drivers seat and I get in the passengers, and he drives us to his house. I walk in his house like I own the place. "Hey Uncle Billy!!! Your favorite and only niece is here!!!!" I yell, and I hear him laughing. I walk into the living room to see him, Sue and Harry with little 14 year old Seth. Wonder where Leah is. I ran over an hugged all the Elders. "Guess what?" I whisper shouted, knowing Seth had his earbuds in listening to music and Jacob was in his room. "I phased!" I whisper excitedly. And they're jaws just dropped. "The first female shifter. That's unheard of. When?" Uncle Billy asks me. I counted down the weeks. "About 9 weeks ago. And Jacob is my mate." I whisper again. Billy and the others smile.

"Hey, Aunt Sue?" I ask her, before going to Jake's room. "Yes dear?" She asks me. "Where's Leah?" I ask her. Aunt Sue sighed. "She likes to barricade herself in her room now, since you know." She said. I nodded. Sam and Leah were high school sweet hearts, until Emily came to town. Sam I printed on Emily, as Leah practically went into depression. It was sad, that happened before the last time I left Forks. "Okay. Well, the next time your down, or by my house, tell Leah I'm back, and staying for.....forever. Night love yal." I say and walk to Jake's room.

I opened the door and jumped on his bed. He yelled in surprise as he was on the floor. I just laughed. I got up and closed the door back and walked back to the bed. I got on it. "Jacob! I need someone to cuddle with!! I'm used to cuddlin with Jared, Paul, or Collin, maybe even Brady if I'm really tired." I whimper. He sighed and turned the light off and got in bed with me. "Rabbit. Would you like to be my girlfriend?" Jacob asks me in the dark of his room. I gasp. Should I say........
