"(Name)! (Name)!" 8 year old kid yells while running over to you while you were sitting under a tree. You look up from a book you were reading "kid!" You yell happily and set the book down then you get up and run towards him "kid!" You yell as you tackle him to the ground in a hug "hehe hello to you too love" kid says while laughing a little at your reaction to seeing him "he-he hi cutie" you giggle back as you get off of kid and sit on your knees on the ground in front of him, kid sits up and grabs one of your hands with one of his "I have something for you love" kid says and only now do you notice that he was holding his other hand behind his back "really!? What is it?" You asked excitedly " I'll give it to you but you'll have to turn around first" kid says "okay!" You say and turn around so you're facing away from kid. After a few seconds you feel something get placed on your head "you can look at it in this mirror I have if you want" kid said and held up a tiny hand held mirror. You look in the mirror to see kid placed a flower crown made of black roses "kid! Its beautiful" you say happily while hugging him "i made it just for you love" kid says while hugging you back. you take it off your head and examine it "huh?, kid why is there sparkly stuff all over it?" you asked curiously. kid blushes as he replies "its to make it last forever like my love for you and like your beauty..." you blush after kid says that then smile "thank you kid" you say and give him a kiss on the cheek. kid immediately starts blushing and you giggle "you're so cute kid" you say and wink at him "(name)! its time for lunch" your mother called from your house that was a few yards away from the tree "bye kid" you say as you walk over to where your book was and you pick it up "uh! wait!" kid yelled and ran to you then grabbed your free hand. you turn around and look at kid with your hair flying around gracefully in the wind "yes kid?" you ask and reach up to tuck some hair behind your ear "can...can we meet here tonight?" kid asks shyly and only now realizes he's still holding your hand "sure kid if you want" you reply with a cute little smile "well um...you should probably get home...your mother's waiting" kid says with a very dark blush on his face. it was around 7 about to be 8 by the time kid got back to your meeting spot at the tree "hey love" kid says as he sits down beside you "hello kid" you replied "what do you want to do?" you asked as kid lays down "lets watch the stars for a little while" kid says "okay" you say and lay down with your head on kids chest and he wraps one little arm around your little torso "i wish we could stay like this forever..." kid says "...you got in another fight with your dad about your mom's death didn't you?" you asked quietly "yes" kid says with a little sadness in his voice. you hug kid "you had to grow up way too fast kid..." you say with your eyes starting to water "we both did" kid says and turns onto his side to look at you "yea....i know..." you say sleepily "are you tired?" kid asks. you just nod your head and snuggle up closer to him as a strong gust of wind passed by. kid grabs a blanket out of a bag that he brought with him "goodnight love" kid says and kisses your forehead then covers both of you with the blanket. you both stayed there all night.

you're now 9. you were hanging out with kid at his house and playing video games on his Nintendo 64 "haha i thought you said you were good at this game kid" you say while your car on the screen past his in second "i didn't think you'd be this good" kid says while frantically pressing a button on the controller to make his car speed up "I've told you before so many times, but i suppose i'll repeat myself" you say in a fake but fancy British accent then change back to your original voice as you say this "i'm a natural champion gamer!" your car crosses the finish line and the screen flashes 'player 2 wins' "yes! haha i win" you yell happily. kid just stares at you and sees the spark in your eyes and the brightness in your smile "hey winner" kid says and you turn to look at him "what?" you ask "you're good at video games, lets see if you're good at this" kid says and leans forward and kisses you. you blush but kiss back. after the kiss you get a text from your mom saying you needed to come home "i gotta go...um i'll see you later kid" you say and kiss his cheek quickly then walk out of his mansion.

you're a year older now (10) and you and kid are hanging out at a festival that comes to death city once every year "lets get on that ride!" you say and pull kid towards a ride called the fire ball "it doesn't look very safe..." kid says "but it is very symmetrical" you say in a sing song voice. kids eyes light up and he runs up to the line "kid! wait for me!" you yell and run up to him where he was waiting in line. once you both finally get on, you sit beside each other and when the ride starts to move kid grabs your hand and holds it tight. you look over to him to see that he had his eyes closed. you just smile and squeeze his hand lightly "you'll be okay, i'm here for you" you tell him telepathically. as the ride gets faster kids grip gets tighter but you didn't mind and at some point kid actually opened his eyes and started laughing and cheering along with the other riders. a few minutes later you both got off the ride and walked over to a bench to sit down and enjoy the sun that was starting to set "that was fun" you said while yawning a little then you tried to stretch but kids hand was pulling yours down wait we've been holding hands this whole time? you thought as you looked up at kids face. he was already staring at you with half lidded eyes "please don't let go..." kid said and gave you a weak and sad look. you give him a small smile and say "i will never let go..." then you hugged kid for the last time in 5 years.
