the Kishin slayer (Death the kid X Reader)

What?

"(name)?"

You look over to see kid sitting there with his eyes wide and a bit red from crying at your bedside for the past two days

"(name)! Oh my God you're okay!" he yells happily as he hugs you "you're okay...you're okay..." kid kept saying to reassure himself that this wasn't a dream

"What?" you say as you look at him "wh-who are you?" you ask him and he instantly pulls away

"What? (name), what do you mean? Its me, kid? Your boyfriend?" he says trying to remind you of who he was

"What? I-i have a boyfriend?" You ask and your eyes widen and your face gets a bit red

"(name) snap out of it! Don't you remember me? We've know each other since the day we were both born!" he says, desperately trying to get you to remember

"Kid, death the kid, son of Lord death!" he says hoping you'll finally remember

You give him a sad, confused face "sorry, no, it doesn't ring a bell" you say as you avoid eye contact with him

Just then someone knocks on the doorframe of the infirmary room since the door was already open

"Hey Kid what's all the yelling abou-" it was soul with a girl standing behind him (maka) . His eyes widen as he sees you sitting up in the bed

"(name), you're awake" he says and walks into the room with his hands in his pocket

You suddenly felt a very strong connection between you and soul "soul?" you say as you stand and walk past kid

Kid watches your every movement, a bit jealous that you seem to remember soul "soul!" you yell happily and hug him

He is shocked at first but hugs you back which causes him to earn a low growl from kid

"Soul what happened? Where am I? And what happened to you!? You're covered in bruises and bandages!" you ask frantically as you begin to inspect every part of his body that you could visibly see bruises and bandages

This time you earned a low growl from both maka and kid

Just now did you notice the girl behind soul "who is that?" you ask as you stare at maka

"You mean you don't remember maka?" soul asks and you make a sad face and shake your head "no..." you say sadly "you're the only person I recognize soul..." You mumble and rub your arm embarrassedly

"I think we should go talk to Lord death about this" soul says and is about to start leading you out of the room when kid springs up from his spot beside the infirmary bed and shoves soul's arm away from your shoulders

"Memory or not. She's my girlfriend and I'll lead her" kid says and slightly glares at soul as he held you in his arms

Your eyes widen and you blush at kid's behavior I may not remember this guy...but he is incredibly protective over me... You thought

After a few seconds you realize the position you were in with kid and you pulled away "I-I can walk myself, just show me where it is without damaging my bones on the way" you say a bit sassily

Kid smiles as he remembers how sassy you could get I'll make her remember me...even if it takes me forever...she forgot me once and I made her remember so maybe...I could make her remember me again! Kid thought, getting a new sense of hope
