The deal

It's been 2 days and Kid was still by your side. He refused to leave even when his father would come in and try to convince him to go home and rest. He even continued to try to encourage you to keep fighting the black blood even if you were in a comotose state.

~in your mind~

Your eyes shoot open and you sit up in a room you have never seen before. The room is black and gold but the gold seems to be slowly fading.

You stand up and scan your surroundings. You hear laughter coming from the other side of a door you just noticed.

You walk up to the door and hesitate, debating on whether you should open it or not can't be worse than anything I've been through before... You thought as you quickly twist the handle and open the door only to be stopped dead in your tracks

Your eyes widen as you see your mom, dad and you as a child all together. From the looks of it, you were at the park and your dad was chasing after you while you and your mother ran from him while giggling "I'm gonna get you!" your dad said as he laughed with joy

You stand there as your arm falls to your side and you continue to stare as your mom scoops you into her arms and runs with you as you giggle while your dad still chases you

"Ah memories, they can be precious but also painful" you hear a voice next to you.

You turn your head and look down a bit to see two small figures.

one was a small demon looking figure. He looked a bit creepy but it didn't scare you. The other was a small reaper looking figure. The little reaper figure wore something similar to what Lord death wears except the mask only had the eyeholes there was no mouth. He looked a bit cute

"Who are you?" you ask confused as to why you were seeing these little figures.

"We are who you're stuck with now that you have black blood" the little demon says as he reaches out a hand to you "let us show you something" he continues

You stare at his hand skeptically "what? You don't trust me?" he says with a smirk "pretty much, I just found out you existed like 2 minutes ago" you reply

He waves a dismissive hand "alright, if you say so" he says and starts walking "just follow us please" the little reaper says and he follows after the demon

You follow them to another door and the demon opens it to show you and Kid when you were younger. You and him were just sitting under the special tree as he read out loud to you

"As I said before, memories can be precious but painful" the little demon said "but sometimes...you can relive them" he finished

At this your eyes widen and you quickly look at him shocked "w-what?" you ask confused "what we're saying is...we can take you back to the good times" the little reaper explains "w-what? But how?" you ask hoping that what they're saying is true

"Oh it's quite simple my dear" the little demon says as he smirks evily "just surrender to the black blood" he says

"Let's say I do....what happens?" you ask, interested in getting your family back.

The demon continues to smirk "you go back to having a family, you have a chance to save your family and everything will be good, better Even" the little reaper says

"What's the catch?" you ask, catching onto their plan "you lose what you have now but I mean is that really a problem?" the demon says "you won't have to deal with those brats anymore, or Lord death and that idiotic son of his, obsessed with symmetry" the demon says nonchanlantly

Your eyes widen "w-what?" you say as you look between the two doors of you and your family and you and Kid

"You choose, your family or kid" the demon says with his trademark smirk.
